I've wanted to play this for a while and it was just as good as I hoped
STAY AWAY complete scam!! not even able to progress after the 15 minute tutorial. Lacking content past tutorial. This is no way should be labeled a game. this is at best a weekend romp into basic gaming programming.
Overall, I’d defintely recommend The Colony 2044. . The idea of managing a colony of bunnies in a post-apocalyptic world is a fun and unique twist that keeps the game feeling fresh. The gameplay offers a good mix of strategy, resource management, and chaos.. While the pacing can feel slow at times, once you get into the groove, it’s an enjoyable experience that’s easy to get lost in. If you’re looking for something different with a lot of charm, The Colony 2044 is definitely worth checking out.
Fun and promising early access game that reminds me of the Last Day on Earth: Survival and State of Survival mobile games meets Cult of the Lamb. Love the cute art style and the game play mechanics of the game! There needs to be a better tutorial that explains how to use your colonists though, since it took me a while to figure out how to use them effectively. Also, there absolutely needs to a better inventory management system of the colonists, since individually searching the colonists for items or waiting for them to place the items in the chest is super tedious. Along with this, there needs to be a better way to individually command colonists since the Yell system works well with groups, but is annoying to use when trying to select an individual colonist or two. Encountered a stuttering issue that sometimes happens if playing the game for a while, annoying but a simple restart of the game fixes it. Fixing these issues, having a better tutorial, and polishing the game more would have me very excited for the final release!
Game shoves ideology in your face completely unnecessarily with pronoun nonsense.
Fun game with lots of cute bunny. Reminds me of animal crossing and cult of the lamb mixed with the walking dead. If your'e a fan of those games i highly recommend you try this game out!
There's "Early Access" and then there's "Why was this even released?" To say that this is a game is a very generous statement as one of the most basic concepts doesn't actually work well. Namely Killing zombies. You have a fairly high chance of them just...standing there. Instead of dying. They just stand there and bounce around. Change maps, come back. they're there. A feature , just standing there forever. Save game corrupts. After my 3rd restart I just kinda don't really care anymore. All those screenshots with shotguns and villages built up, yeah never got to even see anything remotely like that. Never even got to the point of being able to research things. Saves just love breaking themselves. "OHHH BUT IT'S EARLY ACCESSS" no Early access requires feedback sure. Well here's your feedback. Figure out how to make zombie corpses ...ya know...die? Instead of standing around. Figure out how to pause the game in the Map screen, or make it so it's quicker to select destinations, especially in zombie infested areas Actually put -something- in the areas your exploring? There's no discernible difference between "infested town" "forest" and "survivor camp" Maybe a sprinkling of buildings there to like...explore? I saw an RV once, but it just was an item to hit for scrap metal. Again. I really shouldn't have to -say- this. It should already be in game. This is not an Early Access Game, this is a technology demonstrator that doesn't even work 100%. And you're charging nearly 10 dollars for it. So not...to anyone looking at this. Don't buy it. It's not even remotely to a testing phase yet. To anyone who's all "oh but think of the potential of the game" Doesn't matter. If it can't build a strong working foundation, who cares what "could be" ? The dev doesn't' need a Early Access to be told these things. If you're too the point where you need people to.....say "include content and make things work correctly" .....................well.
The game keeps crashing so I'm unable to even get past from making a file🥲 I've tried uninstalling and installing it to see if it'll work, but the game sadly doesn't. I was really hoping to have been able to play since I've had it wish listed since the game was first announced. I'd appreciate if I could get any tips on how to get the game to work, but until then, I might have to hold back on buying the game just yet.
Even missing some key feature at the moment, I still find myself coming back to build my camp. This game has a lot of potential, i'm excited to see future updates!
