The Clockwork Man: The Hidden World

그럭저럭 괜찮다. 1편하고 별 다를 바는 없지만 스토리는 좀 나아진 듯. 그냥 평범하기 그지없는 숨그찾이지만 그래도 스프로켓은 정말 귀엽다!ㅋㅋㅋ 퍼즐보다는 숨그찾이 메인이며, 1편이 그랬듯 조금 치사한 숨그찾 씬 때문에 평가는 많이 낮아지는 모양이다. 하지만 개인적으로는 평소 하던 것보다 어려워서 더 재밌었다. 치사한 짓거리도 1편보다는 덜하고. 성우 연기도 훌륭하고, 그래픽도 꽤나 예쁘고, 스토리만 좀 더 잘 풀어나갔다면 괜찮았을 것을, 컷씬 퀄리티는 좋은데 내용이 ㅠㅠ 그나마 [spoiler] 다람쥐의 마지막 최후만큼은 귀엽다 ㅋㅋㅋ식인 식물한테 주려다가 한소리 크게 들었당ㅋㅋ[/spoiler] 그리고 [spoiler] 교수는 왜 날 속였다가 날 구하려고 했다가 한대 맞고 나가떨어졌는지 전혀 설명이 없고... [/spoiler] [spoiler] 제목의 clockwork man도 스프로켓 말고는 없는데ㅋㅋㅋ1편에서 사라졌던 것 아닌가? 그 내용과 조금이라도 연관이 있었으면 좋았을 텐데, 싶기도 하고. [/spoiler] 여러모로, 스토리가 너무너무 빈약해서 아쉬운 게임. 그것만 제외하면 괜찮은 게임이다. 1편보다 음악도 훨씬 좋았다.

This is stylistically similar to the first game, with many of the same positive qualities, and many of the same flaws. The scrolling, zoom-able hidden puzzles are just as challenging (and frustrating, and messy), the music and art are just as beautiful, and the voice acting is just as over-the-top. The plot is also just as convoluted (although this one feels more like a campy homage to the classic film "Journey to the Center of the Earth," and less like "we just didn't think this through"). I was honestly expecting the story to be a direct continuation from the previous game, but it does not seem to connect at all, aside from starring the same main character and a similarly-named villain. I feel like this game had slightly more of a focus on the point-and-click adventuring and mini-games, which helped to add a level of depth and content that wasn't entirely present in the original. These elements were clever and intuitive, and blended seamlessly with the hidden object puzzles to produce a more well-balanced and interesting game. Overall, this was a fun, sometimes frustrating game that is worth buying on sale. I would give it a 6.5/10

Although the first Clockwork Man was pathetically simple with little more than continuous hidden object puzzles to solve, this second game has some very interesting and challenging puzzles. The artwork is still primitive but improved. Get it on sale and enjoy!

This game is unbalanced. Messy HOS-es, confusing gameplay, when you really don't know where you should go and what you should do. We had to restart postcard puzzle 4 times, because there was always one piece of puzzle missing. Definitely not worth paying full price, get it only in bundle or huuuuge discount.

Well put together puzzle adventure with gorgeous visuals. Story is a tad cliche but overall a great game.

I did not recommend the first part of this game, but luckily the developers made a big progress this time, so I give it a thumb up :) Pros: [list] [*] finally there's standard HO styled menu [*] puzzles are more complicated and you can't skip them [*] HO scenes are way better - you don't have to inspect the same area few times... [*] it's longer than the first part [*] you meet more characters [*] the environment is more interesting [/list] Cons: [list] [*] glitches [*] some HO scenes are like in the first part of the game - there are many tiny objects that are hard to find [*] sometimes when you click on the object nothing happens [*] inventory is still placed on top so it's quite uncomfortable to use it [/list]

한글화가 없어서 일단 감점. 퍼즐도 숨은 그림 찾기 형식이 많은데 은근히 색상을 비슷하게 해서 못찾게 하는 요소가 많음.. 특히, 힌트차는게 오래걸리고, 북을 통해 단서를 유추해 내는것도 초보자에게는 힘듬... 스토리적이나 게임 요소적 재미로 시간을 늘리는것이 아니라 반 강제적으로 힌트를 못찾게 해서 시간을 늘리는 요소가 맘에 들지 않음..

This game works on WIN11 latest release absolutely fine. Altough little bit of borders is lost at 1440p. I really liked this game in the past.
