Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 4.44/day in the week to Aug 4 → 31.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I want to love this game. The cyberpunk atmosphere is excellent, the game loop is fun (kind of Diablo but with cybernetics & guns), and the visuals are very good and hold up extremely well considering how long ago it was released. Combat is a bit clunky, but it works. Missions are easy to follow and there's plenty of info in the game to help new players get familiar with the game dynamics. But the overwhelming issue with this game is the frustrating instability. There's countless threads all talking about the same problems, with little to zero response from the developers. It's as if they just bagged it up and shipped it - then washed their hands of any future responsibility. If the game could run for more than an hour without freeze-locking, I would wholeheartedly recommend it, but in its current form it is an absolute chore to get working and remain stable for a play session more than an hour long. Get it on a HUGE discount if you don't mind wrestling with settings, both in Windows and the game, just to make it playable. and be prepared to have to turn down a lot of the appealing settings (such as RTX lighting, shadows and reflections) as well as all your Windows overlays - and run it in DX11 mode. However, if you're wanting an out-of-the-box stable gaming experience, this is most definitely not going to be up your street. Sorry dev's. You need to do better.

It's a nice top-down shooter with many ways to play. The normal difficulty is plenty challenging, provided you aren't grossly overleveling throughout the game. The story is also pretty cool, despite having your average dystopian cyberpunk-esque theme where corporations are subverting everyone and blah blah blah. Controls can be pretty intuitive once you get used to them.
Great immersive cyberpunk game. Worth it
I tried to like this game, but I don't. It looks great, the world's creation is very nice for CP fans, but the gameplay is so boring. It tries to be a sort of h'n's game, but it's not, it's repetitive, there is no feeling of progression, things I bought after 1hr of game are still equipped on my character, you loot a lot of useless stuff, there's no fun in killing hundreds of enemies. I dropped it after 11hrs and I don't think I will ever come back to it.

Muitos efeitos de particula e iluminação. Shooter top down com estetica cyberpunk futurista.
I’m only 72 minutes in, so these are very much first impressions, but The Ascent is essentially Diablo transplanted into a gritty cyberpunk dystopia. It has the same isometric perspective, loot-driven progression, character upgrades and constant stream of enemies, although the combat is built around twin-stick shooting rather than traditional Diablo-style abilities. There are plenty of enemies to fight, weapons and armour to collect, chests to find and crafting materials scattered throughout the world. The combat includes a cover system and the ability to aim high, allowing you to shoot over cover or target taller enemies. There is also a proper RPG system with character stats, skill points, different weapon types and equipment that can be upgraded or replaced as you progress. Alongside the usual RPG mechanics, you have cybernetic augmentations that provide additional combat abilities and a cyberdeck used to hack doors, chests and other systems. The cyberdeck itself can also be improved, gradually allowing you to access things that were previously locked. It is all fairly familiar territory for an action RPG, but the cyberpunk setting gives every system its own flavour. The visuals are absolutely fantastic. The environments are incredibly detailed, full of neon lights, industrial machinery, packed streets and towering megastructures. It captures that dirty, oppressive cyberpunk atmosphere brilliantly, where advanced technology exists alongside poverty, corporate control and general societal collapse. The sound design, music and background activity also make the world feel much larger and more alive than I expected. So far, the combat feels satisfying, but the presentation is easily the strongest part of the game. I would recommend it mainly because of how well it delivers the cyberpunk setting. Diablo-style games are not normally to my taste, so it is difficult to say whether I will stick with it long-term, but I picked it up cheaply in a sale and I’m already happy with what I paid.

This is one of the dopest games I have ever played. Yeah freezes happen here and there, sometimes the game wigs out and you have to restart. Its whatever tho, the game itself is amazing. The amount of detail put into the world is immense. The combat is amazing. Audio and FX are next level. We need more games like this
