I enjoyed the complexity of the crafting. Been playing for well over a year on xbox version but had problems with it working on the xbox. I haven't found any issues on the steam version. There is a complex story line to follow. The story line is dependent on the crafting to move it forward. With the customization of settings it really lets you determine the difficulty and effort in design of automation of the crafting. Found it to be a well rounded game if your into automation with a compelling story.
I don't get why so many people hate on this game! It's not satisfactory or factorio, but it's still very good! I havn't played the last update, so unless something has drastically changed this is a super fun automation game. And co-op is great.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I find it boring. - The game promises you "mystery" and "fully voice-acted campaign", but what you get at the beginning is just a few voice lines and a very vague intro sequence. Nothing exciting at all. To uncover the story further you have to MINE AND GRIND (what did I expect though?) - Toxic oversaturated colors everywhere, my eyes can't take it. - Nothing interesting/new factory gameplay wise. You begin with mining copper and iron ore, smelting it, building conveyor belts and feeding things into assemblers. Nope, thank you, I've been there.
i'm at the start of the game 5 months after leaving EarlyAccess and i'm finding bugs in core parts of the game. I feel like they took our money and ran. devs took version 0.6, slapped a 1.0 label on it, cut some good features, left some bugs in, and months later you have 120/m belts with 6 20/m arms that for some reason can't saturate the belt, and they left with a list of known bugs. update: i just looked into it more, i actually didn't realize how right i was. they really did take our money and run. these bugs are here to stay https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3460343660
I If you buy this, maybe buy it as a 8 hour game. You can play the interesting part. Just be willing to drop a game half-finished. I played during early access, and I just played through again... there are some people who comment that negative reviews are because of people bitter about what happened during early access; I just think the game is a few hours of fun, followed by tiresome and repetitive filler with essentially no reward at the end: not even a video, just bland log entries. The game falls off precipitously when it hits the sand. There are lots of other comments about this, but it's basically just set a few things up, then wait hours. This might not be so bad, except that there's not really blueprinting of factories, so you're setting up buildings individually. Then, do it again, and again, and again. The last few bits are also buggy. I didn't realize it until I hit a bug, and I wasn't about to spend another dozen hours just trying to get back to where I'd been before. I was still able to reach the end, but I had to skip a chunk of the story (and wasted hours figuring that out). It's sad they didn't even finish debugging the plot progression. Don't make the same mistake I did. If you have lots of hours to burn, there are still other game you'll probably enjoy more at the end.
The motion gives me motion sickness and is difficult to track and follow. The graphics look nice but I can't play a game that's visually super wobbly and difficult to control. I have 12th gen i7 16GB Iris so my computer shouldn't be a problem.
Company bailed.
Tragically while this game was great in early access and iterating rapidly, the 'full' release is littered with half finished ideas/overdone mechanics, and what I can only describe as straight up wrong ratios. The worst could be cleaned up relatively easily but the devs are done so I can't really recommend it in its current state.
Honestly this game is great, the factory stuff isn't perfect but it works well enough, and the concepts are pretty fun and honestly the voice acting and music are great. I haven't finished the story but at almost 50 hours in I'm just hooked. The theme and story alone make this game stand out for me, even if the factory elements aren't super polished. Edit: I completed the game around 87 hours in, I will say that the last levels are very hard to progress (on default difficulty) which I know is a turn off for some. But I like to think of it as a final boss battle, making sure your factory is efficient and producing a mass quality of required materials and even messing up a belt can cause your whole system to limp which resets your progress. very quickly. I'll also mention that I had huge problems on PC with the hot bar, so I just used the 2 default bars because it was very clunky to swap between them. Also performance on max settings near the endgame was sometimes rough even with a very good system. I will say while this game isn't perfect. The price is good and the game play is acceptable with a refreshing story in a factory game. The first levels are the best by far, later on you NEED to be scaling up your production to beat the "final bosses" Out of all the factory games I've played recently this one will be very memorable, it's a shame the game company is gone.
