good
Haven't played this game long but the atmoshere and dark world are unlike any game i have played. The music so far is superb and the cutscene after the tutorial had me speechless. Can't wait to explore more of this dark world as it has many aspects of a Bethesda game with improvements in some areas.

Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
What if Skyrim was forged in pure depression, Celtic nightmares, and an unrelenting hatred for your personal happiness?
Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon is the gritty, unapologetic, first-person dark fantasy RPG that people have been begging the industry to make for over a decade. It takes the beloved exploration loop of old-school Bethesda RPGs, strips away the sanitized high-fantasy shine, and drowns it in an ocean of rot, mud, and eldritch Arthurian myth.
Why this grim descent into madness is so damn good:

Arthurian legend gone horribly wrong: King Arthur is dead. The Knights of the Round Table are fractured, dead, or turned into absolute monsters. The Red Death is rotting the population, and the Wyrdness—a creeping, chaotic cosmic fog—is actively swallowing what little remains of the island.
Actual first-person RPG freedom: Melee combat with real weight and stamina management, responsive parrying, dual-wielding, satisfying archery, and spellcasting that lets you feel like a dangerous hedge wizard. You can build a sneaky thief, a plate-clad berserker, or an alchemical lunatic who solves every problem with concoctions.
Zero "good" choices: Do not expect fairy-tale heroism. Almost every quest forces you to choose between two shades of awful, usually deciding which wretched faction gets to suffer slightly less today. The writing treats you like an adult who understands consequence.
Atmosphere so thick you could choke on it: From ruined menhirs struggling to keep the nightmare fog at bay to decaying cathedrals and drowned swamps, the visual and environmental design drips with raw, grim dread. Stepping off the beaten path feels genuinely dangerous.
Handcrafted exploration: No bloated, soulless radiant point-of-interest bloat. If you see a dark opening in a cliff face or an abandoned hut tucked behind a rotting willow, there is almost certainly a bespoke horror, unique loot, or a tragic diary waiting inside.

Quick Checklist for Lost Souls:
Atmosphere: ☐ Cozy fairytale ☐ Standard high fantasy ☑ Bleak, muddy, eldritch depression where even the fog wants to melt your face Skyrim DNA: ☐ Cheap cash-in clone ☐ Too many dragons ☑ The gritty, unforgiving, adult first-person open world Bethesda forgot how to make Mental State in the Wyrdness: ☐ Perfectly sane ☐ A little jumpy ☑ The whispers in the dark are making some surprisingly valid philosophical points
The Verdict:
10/10. Dirty, brutal, compelling, and endlessly atmospheric. An essential pilgrimage for anyone yearning for a true, deep, dark fantasy open-world RPG.
I really like this game so far. The world is really pretty and feels handcrafted in many ways. The mechanics are really nice too though I find the skill tree a bit lacking. The story is decent but the atmosphere is really good and most of the quest are well written and keep me invested in the game.

:D
Good game. Writing may not be the best overall but there are very good moments and the environmental storytelling is up to par. The game is dripping with ambiance. If you liked Skyrim and the like, you will love this.
solid game!
The most fun I've had playing Skyrim since... umm... Skyrim.
