System Override von Version 6 Games. Ein schnelles Puzzlegame.
Wer nicht multitaskfähig ist, der kann in diesem Einbruchspuzzler ganz schön ins Rotieren kommen.
Wir verkörpern einen Hacker, der seinem Kumpanen hilft einen großen Einbruch zu begehen.
Wir sitzen gemütlich vor einer Überwachungsanlage und können den Weg unseres Freundes am Monitor überwachen. Das ist aber leider nicht alles, das wäre ja auch zu einfach. Während unser Kumpel die Gänge eines Museums (?) durchsteift, auf der Suche nach dem begehrtem Stück, versuchen wir zu verhindern, dass er in Fallen läuft und von Lasern zerbrutzelt oder Robotern gefangen wird.

Das ganze ist schwerer als es sich zunächst anhört. Vor uns steht nicht nur der Monitor der Überwachungsanlage, sondern eine ganze Menge von unterschiedlichen Apparaten. All diese verschiedenen Geräte müssen zum richtigen Zeitpunkt bedient werden, damit unser Kollege im Gebäude seinen Auftrag erledigen kann. Je weiter wir voranschreiten, umso mehr Gräte kommen ins Spiel. Geht etwas schief haben wir die Möglichkeit einen Code einzugeben, um am Checkpoint wieder anzufangen. Das geht aber nicht unbegrenzt, irgendwann resettet das Spiel wieder auf Anfang.

Wir bekommen also reichlich Stress, um die ganzen Geräte rechtzeitig und in der richtigen Reihenfolge zu bedienen. Das macht Spaß und ist eine richtige Herausforderung.
Der Grafikstil ist eher comichaft, der Sound ist okay. Die Steuerung geht leicht von der Hand, wir stehen nur in einem Raum und können alles gut mit den Händen erreichen, bzw. per Ausfallschritt ist alles in Reichweite.
Es gab nur beim ersten Start ein Problem mit der Spielerhöhe, durch drücken auf A (Index-Controller) wurde die Höhe aber wieder angepasst. Leider bin ich nur durch Zufall darauf gestoßen, ich wollte das Spiel schon wieder deinstallieren...

System Override ist ein cooler Puzzler mit einer tollen Idee. Etwas mehr Story würde dem Spiel sicherlich gut tun, aber auch so macht es Spaß und ist herausfordernd.

System Override by Version 6 Games. A fast-paced puzzle game.
If you can't multitask, this burglary puzzler can really get you spinning.
We embody a hacker who helps his crony to commit a major burglary.
We sit comfortably in front of a surveillance system and can monitor our friend's progress on the monitor. But that's not all, unfortunately - that would be too easy. While our friend roams the corridors of a museum (?) in search of the coveted item, we try to prevent him from falling into traps and being sizzled by lasers or caught by robots.
The whole thing is harder than it sounds at first. In front of us is not only the monitor of the overwatching system, but a whole host of different devices. All these different devices have to be operated at the right time so that our colleague in the building can complete his mission. The further we progress, the more devices come into play. If something goes wrong, we have the option of entering a code to start again at the checkpoint. But this doesn't work indefinitely, at some point the game resets to the beginning.
So we have a lot of stress to operate all the devices in time and in the right order. It's fun and a real challenge.
The graphic style is rather comic-like, the sound is okay. The controls are easy to use, we are only standing in one room and can easily reach everything with our hands, or everything is within reach with a lunge.
There was only a problem with the player height at the first start, but by pressing A (index controller) the height was adjusted again. Unfortunately I only came across this by chance, I was about to uninstall the game again...
System Override is a cool puzzler with a great idea. The game would certainly benefit from a bit more story, but it's still fun and challenging.
