Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.14/day in the week to Aug 23 → 3/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

At the turn of the millennium, the world of Tahnra is headed for a reckoning. The long and bloody conflict of Veridian Succession left the Empire of Veridia scarred, its people subject to brutal hardships. Under the reign of Empress Florina, the vicious cycle seemed to be broken, until a rogue General abducted her from the capital, mustering his own armies and raising the flag of rebellion. You, a young academy graduate, will command an expedition against these forces… a conflict that will set off a chain of events and shake the very foundations of the world.

If you like Unicorn Overlord-style strategy gameplay, I can recommend this game.
If you're a fan of Ogre Battle, Fire Emblem, or Unicorn Overlord I would check this game out. I am about 10 hours in and I am very satisfied with Symphony of War. 16 bit look, squad based tactic rpg. Recruit units, create 9 person squads and build out your army.

I waited too long to make this review, but in light of the sequel being in development, I want people to know about this game. I love Fire Emblem. This is FE on crack. You actually get more customization to your unit, and it creates interesting opportunities for clever strategies. Once you get the basics, you'll find that the depth of strategy in this game is impressive and addictive. This was the first game in years I could not put down. Also, the home base mechanics are a nice break. It feels like you're actually doing something. Very reminiscent of the camping phase in Three Houses.
THE MOST pleasent experiences I've had in gaming. Halo's true power was it was a very friendly to user game- this game runs rings around even that. The game is complex but rarely over-wellming. The missions have some challenge but are strait-forward. The army builder is one of the most fun I've had in crafting in any game. Much like fantasy general its resource system is a little restrictive to induce a little challenge but you will definantly find ways to build and upgrade your army. The game is long about 30 missions about 30hours or more, however it does not strain its length and every twist of the story is both logical and strange in how satisfying that they avoid cheep tricks in order to develope a strong narrative. TLDR: Sound is great though some repetitive (in a good way) gameplay is addicting. Story has great replayablilty! ABOVE all a master class in being gamer friendly. you will have to adjust the visuals when you first get in the game to your rig but this as well was painless for me. Truely if you can be okay with its 2D style then this game is an epic of strategy and fun. A true joy to play.
I want to recommend this game, but there are too many things I'm struggling to enjoy with it. To be honest, it almost ticks all the boxes but falls short on numerous things. I eyeing the 2nd game closely, I hope it does meet some of those expectations. I'll put some things I enjoyed first before I get into the bad. Pros: Character design: Designs are pretty decent, only a few exceptions (lol the dragons look ridiculous) but overall I enjoy the sprite design and choices made. Inventory/class management: Pretty decent, I enjoyed gearing up teams and leveling them up. The random affinity system is interesting. I liked setting up squads before battle and looking at small upgrades/class changes. Cons: UI/QoL: As someone who has played FE for decades and other SRPGs. This game falls short massively on this. No rewind feature (you basically need to save scum). No auto turn end. No clear combat forecast. Class stat growths? All of this kind of stuff is missing and makes the experience feel EXTREMELY dated (going back and playing FE7 on the gameboy advance doesn't feel as dated). I totally understand as a developer this isn't easy stuff to nail and indie developers should be given grace. But as a gamer you feel it, very quickly. This something I really hope is fixed with the second release. I shouldn't be looking at games 20 years ago to compare with this game. Difficulty: The game isn't hard by any stretch of the imagination, but it spikes randomly. This feels more cheap then anything. Cannons/gun units are crazy strong, and they start to be spammed later in the game (or on certain legends chapters). It's cool n all, they're pretty weak on player phase but, enemy phase you can't make mistakes against some of these units without losing entire squads. This adds to the aggravation with lack of rewind feature which I'll explain below. Overall gameplay experience: This is my biggest thing. I had more fun training in the arena and in the menu compared to actually on the battlefield. Most of the bonus objectives are time based (cool, I like additional rewards for good play) but other than that? It's not actually challenging. Besides the occasional reset on a legends chapter because X OP unit completely wiped out a unit after 2 rounds of combat. It's like eh??? I spent alot of time resetting to save squads/units. Donar churches are super helpful for reviving but if it isn't present in the chapter? Play absolutely perfectly otherwise you're basically going to be bleeding units. Could I clear every single chapter without issue? Yes, but it will cost a squad or half a squad here or there. Cool. Is that enjoyable? Not really. So I feel like resetting, then going through the same process. Add in the RNG nature of attacks, ehhhhh. This is a bit much. I found myself either smashing through 2-3 chapters in a row without any issue then I'd run into some sort of difficulty spike and I'd have to reset and play perfectly to avoid constant squad losses. Is it sustainable to constantly bleed squads? Idk it felt so bad to let it happen a few times I just ended up not letting it happen. This is a problem with a game where you have 8-10 units in a squad. Every single member has a role/point and if you start to lose one here or there the rest start to crumble and replacing them is difficult if not impossible. So what happens is, you end up having to play every single turn with 0 mistakes or constantly manual saving every single turn. Which, cool make a single mistake? welp that's a chapter reset unless you were save scumming. Maybe I'm just too used to having a rewind feature in these kind of games and this is backfiring. I don't know, but it reminds me of really old SRPGs with massive holes in QoL. Just too tedious tbh. With that, I'd have to say, I can't recommend this one as it is. I tried to enjoy it, but it's just falling short in a few areas. Hopefully the next one knocks it out of the park in this regard.
reminded me of Unicorn Overlord (another fantastic game) i liked it alot. only real complaint would be the "relationship" stuff was kind of weak and almost pointless. still 5/5 imo.
Its like someone who played Ogre battle March of the Black Queen (Im a huge fan of Ogre Battle too) and they took the bones of that, did a decent job at the art work, and then completely $h!t the bed on the rest. The story is unimaginative, trite, and feels like a copy/paste of every "the empire is the bad guy" story ever written. The characters are extremely two dimensional, they do not grow, and the interactions between the PCs are like a few lines of shallow banter between a group of worn out tropes. The battles are boring and take very little tactics or skill (its mainly about putting the units in with the highest threat rating in a squad and wipe the playing field with like 3 squads). And dont bother grinding any starting characters because every time you go to the merchant and hire a recruit they are always better than anything you have. And the power balance between the main characters is a joke. There are squad leaders like the main archer player character that is even weaker than a no named hireling archer. There are several main story unit leaders I had to join into one squad just so they done get wiped in the first turn by the enemies, and even then I don't use that unit at all. Then you get to chapter 12 and the enemy power scale ramps up 10,000% like is your 15 squads against 30 units for the first wave which are a decent power balance, then the second wave of that battle there are like 50 units that are all shock troops with multiple rows of artillery cannons, long rifles, and a wall of ultimate meat shield units, and charging cavalry. Keep in mind by this point you are only allowed to deploy 15 units max for the entire battle. And if a unit dies you cannot replace them with another unit that is waiting to be deployed at base if you have created more than 15 units. I wish I could get my money back but steams refund policy says no refunds after 2 hours of play. Oh and that's convenient because the first two hours is a boring tutorial filled with exposition of the world, the characters and establishing your main character as the stereotypical "chosen one" which they actually literally say "You are the chosen one". It reads like a fanfic written by a 10 year old with no imagination, seriously an AI that was told a story by a drunken volunteer creative writing teacher at a local library that was court ordered to do community service could create a more engaging and imaginative story.
