About
Embark on an epic journey with Age of History 3, which takes you through the vast timeline of human history. From the Age of Civilization to the realms of the far future, play as various Civilizations ranging from dominant empires to small tribes.
Advance in the technology tree to unlock better buildings and stronger units, improving your Civilization. Each technological breakthrough opens up new possibilities, reflecting the evolution and growth of your Civilization through History.
The choice of units in the front and second line is vital. Front-line units need to be resilient and capable of dealing with direct combat, while second-line units should provide support, range attacks, or specialized functions.
With more than 63 unique unit types available, you have a vast array of army compositions to select from, offering a diverse range of strategic options.
Each day, the front-line units of both armies engage in combat with the enemy's front-line, provided they are within attack range. Simultaneously, the second-line units also participate by attacking the enemy's front-line units if they fall within their range.
The combat results in casualties, the retreat of troops, and the loss of morale.
Manpower represents the stock of individuals eligible for military service within a Civilization. It is a critical resource used for recruiting new troops and reinforcing existing armies, embodying the Civilization's capacity to wage war and defend itself.
Manpower replenishes over time, reflecting natural population growth and recovery from previous military engagements.
Since manpower replenishes over time, players must plan their military campaigns considering their current and future manpower availability.

Reviews
This game is honestly just not good... It lacks the featers of a grand strategy game and the features it has instead are rather lackluster. It uses AI images and is generally not a recommended buy.
This game uses AI slop. Hard pass. You used to be better, Łukasz, go pay a real artist
For the cost, it is what you kind of expect - A (very) shallow and light version of Europa Universalis. It allows you to go bananas on your world conquest powertrip even on a lower end PC (like a cheaper laptop) and it absolutely crushes on achieving that. What it won't offer you is depth, historical consistency and a themed narative. All nations are very generic, with just a few random modifiers to make them different from one another. The mods help a lot if you want to get a semblence of historical flavour because the base game is... well not developed at all in that department (Hello King Ethelred of Napoli...). What the game does offer instead is full powertrip - The economy can just be pumped to such dumb numbers that with enough persistence you can snowball into a fully 'organic' god mode - infinite gold, absurd amounts of resources, a level of manpower so comical that your already gigantic armies just refill instantly and you can just spam build every single building into all the provinces with just a selection. The game does become pointless afterwards but achieving that is fun if you are into this sort of maniacal repetitive behaviour. Good overall game for what it tries to be, and mods do help with some variability. I rate it 8/I'm having dreams of spam increasing my Economy.
It is pretty replayable but some things could be polished a little, like setting the expensiveness of research since you can play 1440 scenario and in the year 1540 you already got modern warfare. I haven't gotten the concept of army. I know there are flank support and first line, I guess I still need to learn something. But you can just spam army randomly and you won't see much of changes. I recommend this game for people who are willing to put like 2 days of learning into it.
it's kino with mods and okay without mods. there's a good amount of bugs and the game needs way more polishing but otherwise it's enjoyable and is easily the best game of the series.
I was immediately put off by the extremely heavy use of AI generated images. I will never support any developer who so brazenly uses AI slop in their game, it just feels really gross. Besides that the game feels very wide but as shallow as a puddle.
I wouldn't really care about the AI usage if it wasn't used for EVERY photo used for the most part, even in the modern day scenario its usage is crazy.
1. Literally a solo project and feels like there's an entire team working on it. 2. Works extremely well on any hardware (if it works on mine then it 100% works on yours) 3. Every update is a major distinction from the previous one. 4. More customizability than volkswagen cars. Recommended.

A fancy clicker hero how does one manage to make a follow up game worse is beyond me this constant clicking was kinda solved in the second game but whatever
