As the game currently is I think the game is overpriced for what it is. The game has 2 scenarios/seasons you can play that both feature the same minigame challenges for you to play. The minigames themselves are very repetitive after more than 1 season. The social aspect of the game is very basic as of right now with repetitive conversations that effect relationships within the tribe. I hope the game gets updated to feature more than it currently does but as it is the game is maybe worth $5-10 seeing as most people will only get one or two enjoyable playthroughs before getting bored.
The stamina system would be fine IF your other tribe mates collected anything. you are the sole provider and it drains you to the point of ending the adventure. also the auto elimination for the merge is stupid because how do they expect you to solve the puzzle in 59 seconds against AI. the controls are NOT PC friendly. and the auto elimination on the merge is so frustrating it deserves a second mention. i had the hidden immunity idol and didnt beat the puzzle. i feel like having it should let me progress regardless. any way, if youre super into survivor it's fun to kind of live out that fantasy. but other than that, the game is mostly frustrating.
Stamina system is garbage. Most challenges are too easy, while a handful are impossible. What a great concept utterly destroyed by lazy devs grabbing whatever titles they can license.
has game breaking bug with the merge challenge
If your a fan of the survivor TV show do not listen to the comments and judge this game for yourself! Personally having a blast!
It's just not good, the challenges are so simple and the social side of the game is a very limited series of scripted choices which you will learn the correct answer to very quickly. I've seen reviews complaining about the stamina system but stamina is totally irrelavent to the game, you can literally just farm enough food and water to keep the tribe sustained, chat to whoever doesn't hate you, then go rest to replenish stamina and let the wood run out for an automatic tribe-wide popularity boost by picking up some wood and re-lighting the fire every couple of days. This strategy alone will get you to the final three every single time. The game has 2 seasons, 'outwit' and 'brains vs brawn' which are basically identical in terms of gameplay and are on the exact same same map. Just to sum up how bad the game is: I received a steam acheivement awarded to 0.1% of players for 'surviving the vote after playing an idol', I didn't recieve a single vote after playing that idol and have no idea what I achieved or why at least 999 other people didn't play an idol! Most likely they refunded the game before getting that far.
I mostly played offline so my time isn't accurate for the review time. You can simply look at my achievements to see that I did put in the time. My First 5 runs: 1) Medevaced after the first reward challenge after the merge. Stamina system is a learning curve, 100%. 2) Second boot from my tribe because of an idol play and I didn't think to split the votes 3) Voted out at final 4 4) Lost the merge challenge (last place is an auto boot, which really needs to change) 5) Won immunity at final 3, picked who I brought to the end with me, won the title of Sole Survivor 5-1 If you're a fan of Survivor AND you have an XBox style controller AND you're decent at video games, it is worth it at 70% off. Otherwise, pass. The keyboard and mouse controls are VERY bad.
simply unplayable,do not buy it since it just gets more and more unplayable with time passing, doubt they will update anything aswell
Although this game needs a lot of work, I think it has potential. There are a bunch of things that reduce immersion and make the game less like survivor, namely the following: 1. The response options when you talk to people aren't realistic. For example, one of the players talks about being an influencer, if you ask about it; they somehow get angry...weird. 2. There's a very weird merge challenge that gets you eliminated if you don't complete it in time... That's not survivor. Even the do-or-die twist wasn't like that. 3. The alliance systems are off. You can effectively dictate the vote of your ally once it's locked in. 4. There's a lack of jury management in the game. I can't tell what would make them want to vote for me in the end. 5. The hidden immunity idol is weird. It just disappeared from my inventory at one point... With that being said, this game shows promise. I like the environmental aspect of that game. You can choose to foster relations or forage for water, food, etc to give you more energy the next day. The alliance system isn't perfect, but its a decent foundation. Honestly, if you're a die hard survivor fan like me, I think you'll enjoy it. But if you're a casual viewer, you will probably be underwhelmed. With that being said, I hope this game gets a bunch more improvements and a better second version in the future.
Za mě super hra, občas se tam opakují úkoly a rybolov je asi buglý ? Ale jinak povedený nápad.
