As a huge Survivor fan, this game aint it. You do all of the challenges yourself, gather all the materials for camp yourself & aren't able to see any teammates stats. To win any challenges relies only on you as the other members of the team don't contribute to your tribe's success. I wish the NPCs actually contributed & had stats based on their skills. ie: Henry may not be putting in effort at camp to get supplies, but he's a beast in challenges etc. Character names are randomly generated but you get the same 12 players each game. Let me customize my own survivor damn it. The game just feels like a mobile game without any real depth.

There's a lot I want to say but there's just too much flaws in this game to even put in this review. Instead, here's some tips on how to easily survive the worst Survivor game yet: I see so many people in reviews having problems with preserving their energy and having a hard time foraging without getting medevaced or pissing off the entire tribe for not collecting "enough" resources, when literally Bob collected nothing and is not pissing anyone off. Lucky guy. Here is how to stay on top of your resources: - When foraging for food, DON'T forage for coconuts. Always the fish. Because there is always a 50/50 chance of you either getting 1 scrap of food from the coconut, or 1 scrap of food and 1 water from the coconut, or nothing at all. Whereas when you spear some fish, they come in different kinds and give you different amounts of food which is a much better solution for when you're low on food. The fish come in 3 different species: - Little fish give 1 food. (Don't even waste your energy on these little guys. Don't even look at them.) - Blowfish gives 2 food. (If theres no Squids around, this is your second best option for food.) - Squid gives 3 food. (Always try and look for this one to give you a lot of food. It makes the NPCs with the Workaholic personality smile at you) And if you can't spear fish properly, I don't know what to say except that practice makes perfect. As for water, ALWAYS collect enough water so that the # of water in your storage is = to the # of tribemates on your tribe (including you). Collecting 1-2 extra waters is fine, but this tip is about energy preservation, so it is not recommended. With wood, just collect them around wood piles like normal to keep up with your fire's demands. But if it's Day 1 at your camp, ALWAYS try to light your fire first before doing anything else at your camp, as an unlit fire depletes your energy day by day, which is a HORRIBLE way to start your game. Always make sure you have enough wood for a couple days worth of fire before doing anything else. I know this strat is crazy, but you HAVE to lose the first 2 immunity challenges. This is important for RESOURCE preservation because after voting 2 of your tribe members off, there is much less mouths to feced, whih makes it easy to collect enough resources to sustain your tribe. You need a LOT of resources as soon as you hit the merge, because after the elimination challenge that comes with being merged, there will be SEVEN people including yourself that you need to feed, which is literally HELL on an island. But don't worry, as the more people that is voted off at merge, the lesser the tension becomes when foraging during the merge. - And the reason you only have to vote out 2 members is because you need to stay in the majority by the time merge arrives. You just have to pray that one of your tribemates don't get eliminated at the elimination challenge so the ratio becomes 4:3 with your team being the majority. And after that, just eliminate all the castaways who were formerly on the other team, and you get a ticket to the final four. Just like Survivor, alliances is key to surviving the social aspect of this game. Although talking with the NPCs without being met by harrassment and literal rivalries, it's best you do this: #1 tip for social game, you literally have to be nice to everyone to form one-on-one alliances to every single person on your tribe, so that way they can never vote you. It is important to make these close bonds with your tribemates at the start of the game, so by the time merge hits, you have 3 strong bonds that can help you a lot in the votes. It is also important to bond closely to the NPC you are targeting at the next TC, because buttering them up before sending them off to the jury bench is a good way to earn their jury vote because they are dumb NPCs who gladly don't hold grudges. Make sure to also give them false hope. If you're targeting one of your alliance members or someone you're really close with, make the rest of your alliances vote them, but go up to your victim and tell them to vote someone completely random, so that they won't try to do anything funny without your say so. Here is an IMPORTANT tip for Jury Management, so don't pass this one. - You need to be smart about who you are selecting to be your opponent at the Final Tribal Council, because picking the wrong person could cost you the whole game, which devastates everyone who happens to experience this. To avoid that, choose an NPC who has negative relationships with everyone in the merge and the jury. This will be your "Goat" who will literally have very slim chances of winning the jury's votes with their poor relationships. - But don't just not vote them, dictate your alliances so they will vote whoever you choose and NOT your goat. If you don't tell them who to vote, they are likely gonna vote out your goat due to their bad relationship with them, so be careful. - Also don't forget to be friends with and make an alliance with your goat, so they know you got them. But as soon as you reach the Final Tribal Council with your goat, watch in amazement as you will receive all, if not, almost all of the jury votes as your goat is hated by literally everyone on the jury. Following all these strategies, I managed to get a "perfect win" twice (0 votes against me, all jury votes to win.) and if I can do it, so can you. Good luck and try to have fun in this absolute wreck of a game.

As a Survivor game, this is the best one that's ever been released - full stop. On a first playthrough, it is very fun because you're able to make decisions that affect your relationships with your tribemates, play in challenges (that have wonky controls but after you beat the learning curve, they're alright), and strategize your way to the end (or win every challenge like me LOL). However, after you beat a season, there's very little replay value. This would all be alright if this version wasn't 1/3 OF THE FRENCH VERSION RELEASED TWO YEARS AGO. For something that I spent $22.49 on, it was very disappointing to learn that Season 2 is the most that this game offers. The original French game "Koh-Lanta" has 6 seasons, shinier graphics, and fleshed out island life mechanics... and all we get is two seasons? The latter season glitching at the merge so you can't even access the relationship chart because there's an extra 8th player at the merge??? I've gotten all I can out of this game and I only played 5 times: Season 1 three times because I got med evac'd Round 3 twice and won 4-2, then Season 2 twice because I was a losing finalist (lost 0-7), and then won 6-1. The game is too easy to complete and seeing a FINISHED version that was made two years ago doesn't make me feel like my money was well spent. Overall, I would recommend to wait until the game is FINISHED before spending your money on this. In the meantime, play Outlaster on ROBLOX to get the full experience and more because it accomplishes everything here for the wonderful price of $0.00 (unless you don't want to play with actual people... in that case idk what to tell you)

The merge challenge this is stupid!

Big fan of Survivor. If you want a video game adaptation, you'd have better luck with Roblox. I like what they were trying to go for here, but the execution is really poor. Especially with the survival element where you have to do ALL THE WORK.

The merge challenges have been impossible. I always get eliminated at the merge because of them. Plus, whether I use a keyboard or a controller, the controls are difficult and finicky.

This game is not playable. I have made the finale numerous times and not once have I received a single jury vote at the end. I don't understand the logic behind much of the game or how to win it. I would be less annoyed if the game wasn't so buggy and was better graphically. If someone could explain the logic (that is, if anyone knows what that logic is), that would be great. With all that to be said, I do not recommend this game to anyone unless you want your time wasted.
