Russian Fishing 4 is a fishing simulator with RPG elements. There is no story line and the whole process is based on the concept of an open, free to roam and free to play game.
Revenue comes from in-game items and microtransactions, which our price-based model doesn't estimate. The player count below is how many people own it, not what they spent.

Been fishing in this game for over 300 hours now and haven't caught a single russian. Name is potentially misleading
Man arrives home tired from work. Man enters the game. Man go to water Man chooses a rod and cast it = Happy man. Man get fish = Happy man. Man loses fish = Man frustrated and angry, but man fish more and becomes happy. Man + fishing = Happy man.

Russian Fishing 4 is a single player fishing simulator. The player looks to catch fish and sell them to the cafe. Then better gear can be purchased. Since release the developer has added much more content making this game a popular title. Played this on my Dell Precision 3480 with Arc Xe graphics and RTX A500 discrete graphics. Game is very playable.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⢀⣠⣤⣶⣶⣶⣶⣶⣤⣄⡀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⣠⣴⣾⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣶⣄⡀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⣠⣴⣴⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣮⣵⣄⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⢾⣻⣿⢿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⢿⣿⣿⡀⠀ ⠀⠸⣽⣻⠃⣿⡿⠋⣉⠛⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣏⡟⠉⡉⢻⣿⡌⣿⣳⡥⠀ ⠀⢜⣳⡟⢸⣿⣷⣄⣠⣴⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣧⣤⣠⣼⣿⣇⢸⢧⢣⠀ ⠀⠨⢳⠇⣸⣿⣿⢿⣿⣿⣿⣿⡿⠿⠿⠿⢿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⠀⡟⢆⠀ ⠀⠀⠈⠀⣾⣿⣿⣼⣿⣿⣿⣿⡀⠀⠀⠀⠀⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣽⣿⣿⠐⠈⠀⠀ ⠀⢀⣀⣼⣷⣭⣛⣯⡝⠿⢿⣛⣋⣤⣤⣀⣉⣛⣻⡿⢟⣵⣟⣯⣶⣿⣄⡀⠀ ⣴⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣷⣶⣶⣶⣾⣶⣶⣴⣾⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⢿⣿⣿⣧ ⣿⣿⣿⠿⢿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⠿⠿⣿⡿
Short Version: + Great game – Extremely greedy and lazy developers/owners Long Version I love hard and realistic games — I have more than 5,000 hours in Escape from Tarkov. But this game is “hard” only because you didn’t pay, not because it’s realistic or well‑designed. At first, the game feels great. You start catching fish, and each heavier catch gives you that feeling of progress or luck. But after some hours, you start wondering how people catch trophies and how you can catch them yourself. So you search the web… and then you realize you need to level up everything: character levels, skills, talents, and skill points. And all the time you played without researching, you probably put your skill points into the wrong talents — and the only way to reset them is to pay real money (7 USD). Then you discover you basically need to join 6–7 Discord channels and bookmark 2–3 websites just to find a few good spots. If you’re lucky, you can farm XP and silver. Because now you understand you must level up skills to use rods, baits, rod types, and pretty much everything else. Let’s take one example: Groundbait Crafting. You need to level it from 0% to 100%. It costs around 40,000 silver, and you earn about 0.1 silver per fish. That means you’d need to catch around 400,000 fish just to cover the cost. Meanwhile, you also need to buy bait, hooks, lines, rods — everything has durability and breaks. Then you see the Premium option. It gives you: Double XP Double skill XP (0.1 → 0.2 per craft) A much higher chance to level skills A higher chance to catch trophies And then you look at the price of Premium — the most insane greed I’ve ever seen in a game. Lifetime Premium: 1700 USD 1 year: 100 USD So lifetime costs the same as 17 years of yearly subscriptions. Completely absurd. New content comes roughly once every 2 years. There are yearly events with missions, but the time required is huge and the rewards are terrible. And yet… I still love playing this game sometimes.
прекрасная игра минусов вообще нет, но очень хотелось бы что бы был реальный мультиплеер типа что бы с другом играть можно было на одной локации
Beyond realistic. It's way easier to catch a giant fish with a stick and dental floss in real life than it is this "game". Everything you buy has ZERO return value, and this game should be called "Homeless and About to Starve to Death: Russian Fishing 4". The realism is beyond real, and the game just doesn't feel like a game. It adds stress to your life. If I wanted to experience IRL fishing I'll go to my local lake, but it's an absolute drag because it's a video game. Screw the developers of this game. They must work for Putin.
