MAY THE FORCE BE WITH YOU!
Seems a bit pointless as it only covers 1/3 movies in the sequel trilogy. Every level is split up into space combat, shootout, standard Lego exploration (in a random order). Has the same issues as every other Lego game on PC - vsync doesn't work and running the game over 60fps causes loads of issues like scripted sequences not triggering, interactions not working (button mash, rotate stick etc). I shouldn't have to mess around with graphics card settings to play the game. After getting softlocked multiple times I give up. I have no desire to play the DLC levels and can't justify the time to 100% it. Also you need the "Phantom Limb" DLC for 100% achievements which ISN'T even included in the season pass. Play TCS instead.
The game no longer loads in Linux. None of the usual fixes are working. W10 is still working.
Based on the 1st movie of the only Star Wars source material I don't like, this game left me really surprised with what’s probably the best LEGO SW experience there is. Maybe it's the fact that I came in without expectations, but that doesn't mean I don't have my problems with it. The sins: The biggest one of them all is the fact that 100%ing the game, requires to have all the DLC’s,feeling insulting since WB started selling single levels at a ¼ of the prices of the full game. Playing on free play doesn't add to the toggle all the relevant characters needed to complete it. For such a big character selection list even before the DLC characters get added, has a messy way to locate characters. The fact that the beginning sequences can't be skyped. The good: Really well crafted levels, emphasizing on the cooperation of the characters in echa level. Interesting additions to the gameplay like shoot out sections and the ability to dodge. The mechanic of having multiple buildable options was really well implemented. I like the multiple Hubs, though it's not the most comfortable presentation they have done. The Red brick amount and selection. Gold Bricks: 262

This was my fourth LEGO game that I 100% completed. I REALLY don't like this one, not even because it's about the new trilogy, but because this game is actually a nothing burger. I'm not sure if TT was planning on making a separate LEGO game for each new Star Wars episode, but this game feels out of place considering that there isn't a "Last Jedi" or "Rise of Skywalker" game (not that I want those, no sir). We have The Skywalker Saga so there is really no point in playing this unless you either just want to or you want to "master" it. With that being said, there were ONE cool thing about it. I thought the shooting battles were fun and it brought a dynamic not seen in LEGO games before. That's it... I thought the whole game sucked though, the missions were not memorable at all, the characters were carbon copies of other assets, and you can't even 100% the game without buying the DLCs (that's a Steam problem though). It felt like you were better off being a character with a blaster than a Jedi or Sith, they felt flimsy and weak. Their superpower or "ult" was nothing, and the AI were dumb as bricks. The flying missions were okay I guess. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, don't get me started on the voice acting and voice cues. Obviously they took some lines from the movie, but it felt like I was watching a 2010 LEGO stop-motion video, it was just so bad and made me want to go to bed instead of play video games. It took me so long to beat the game (I started around Christmas time last year and completed it in March) because I really just did not want to play the game at all. I mean, that's pretty much it, the game sucks and it's probably one of the worst LEGO games out there, and there are some pretty bad ones. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- pros: - cool firefight minigames - alright flight missions cons: - horrible voice acting and sound design - lame ass missions - boring and forgettable characters - utterly pointless to play now - glitches - required DLC for 100% - dumb AI
Before The Skywalker Saga was released this was the best LEGO Star Wars game out there. Great graphics and hidden puzzles!
Most boring slop ever created, this is the worst LEGO game by far.
