Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Aug 17 → 0.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Gameplay Mechanics: 8/10 Narrative: 6/10 Graphics: 7/10 Sound and Music: 7/10 Replayability: 8/10 Innovation: 8/10 Surviving the Aftermath is a post-apocalyptic colony builder that blends resource management, exploration, and survival strategy into a well-rounded and surprisingly relaxing experience—despite the bleak setting. If you enjoy rebuilding civilization from the ashes, this one’s worth your time. Gameplay mechanics are satisfying and well-paced. You start small, managing a group of survivors and gradually expanding into a full settlement. You’ll deal with disasters, scavenge the world map, research tech, and manage colonists’ needs. It’s a solid loop that steadily ramps up in complexity without overwhelming you. Score: 8/10. Narrative exists mostly in the background. There’s a light story that unfolds through quests and the world map, but it’s not the driving force. It serves as a thematic backdrop rather than an emotional arc. Score: 6/10. Graphics are stylized and clear. The game world is detailed enough to give you a sense of the destruction while remaining colorful and approachable. The UI is clean and easy to navigate. Score: 7/10. Sound and music help build atmosphere. The ambient tracks and environmental sounds fit the mood nicely, though nothing particularly stands out as iconic. Score: 7/10. Replayability is high. Randomized maps, customizable game rules, tech tree choices, and survivor specialization offer variety across runs. You’ll want to experiment with different colony builds. Score: 8/10. Innovation gets points for merging survival, colony building, and world map exploration in a genre that usually sticks to one focus. It’s a thoughtful blend that doesn’t reinvent the wheel but refines a lot of good ideas. Score: 8/10. Bottom line: Surviving the Aftermath is a strong addition to the survival strategy genre. It’s not as emotionally intense as Frostpunk, but it offers a more laid-back, systems-focused approach to rebuilding humanity in a post-collapse world.

This Game has a pretty interesting concept, it challenges you to build up a civilization from scratch, the more balanced the resources get distributed, more quickly your outpost will start to grow, so if you think this is a simple survival game you are wrong it has a lot of different facets to explore some more challenging than others but over all it helps you become a responsible leader in your community if you want to survive.
After watching some old episodes of Let's Game it Out and The Spiffing Brit, I decided to pick this game up (the winter sale helped too), and I have to say I'm really enjoying the game. It took me a few tries to start getting the hang of things and it starts being a really cool weird 4x/City builder (4x from the world map) combo.
There's a lot to like about this game but it is hard to play for all the wrong reasons. If something's going wrong and you can't figure out why I'd recommend saving and reloading to see if that fixes it. Often options that you should have won't appear and resources that you have access to just won't be collected but save and reload will usually fix it.
This game gives me hella dopamine
No
Took me quite a bit to finish my first and last run on base game. It was on 100% difficulty, I didn't really want to restart the whole thing if I slip up due to lack of knowledge on the game systems. The goal is to achieve something like a 'build the wonder' victory, with missions that guide you along the way. Eventually you will run out of things to research, build or fight against but that's nothing unusual for such games. No need to fight the colonist pathing, the devs got it done properly. I would have preferred it mission-style, as one run is too long for my taste. Nonetheless, it is a good game.
Game crashes all the time. Game isn't that bad but I can't deal with all the crasing.
