Very fun, especially in the early game, has a good grind to it
Overall it was a good game, and boy did some of the fish really manage to scare me at times, but there's also the one friend that you can hatch, and hes good emotional support. Still, never going back to that planet
Идеальная игра, после неё появилось желание дрочить на жнеца левиафана.
I first played it 9 years ago and put 40 hours into it without completing it. I thought about the game a lot over the years, so I finally came back and completed it today. I'm very glad I saw the story to the end. Fun, memorable, timeless, and unique.
Лавовый биом просто пыткааааааааааааааааааааа. Пол игры это просто пыткааааааааааааааааааааааа. игра кусочек кала
This game quickly became one of my favorites of all time. From the incredible story to the fun resource collection and crafting mechanics, this game is expansive and explorative with dozens of hours of content to enjoy. The praise aside however, the game struggles with player direction greatly. when you get to midgame you find yourself unknowing where to go and how to find the next teir of resource, as the game's direction for where progression is is extremely broad. Would I recommend this game? yes. absolutely. is it without flaws? not at all. but buy it anyways, it rocks. ALSO THE CUDDLEFISH ARE SO CUTE
Good price great game
Magical
TL;DR. Despite Subnautica 2 being in early-access; the original still holds up and does, at the current time of writing, a plethora of things better. I played the series in a completely backwards order: Subnautica 2 first, then the original, and now I’m moving on to Below Zero. So there’s no nostalgia involved when I say Subnautica 1 does several things much better. The biggest difference is the atmosphere. Subnautica 2 looks better and has more quality-of-life features, but the original ocean feels more mysterious and dangerous. Progression also feels stronger. Every upgrade allows you to go a little deeper, until the game finds a new creature that makes you scared all over again, just as you were at the start of the game. The soundtrack is easily better in the original. Subnautica 2’s music is fine, but the first game has tracks I actually remembered after closing it. Combined with the creature sounds and long periods of silence, it gives the whole game a much stronger identity. I played it with a friend using the Nitrox multiplayer mod. It had some rough moments, but worked surprisingly well overall. So the whole argument that Subnautica 2 has multiplayer and is therefore better, is pretty much invalid for me. Subnautica 2 has better visuals, smoother controls and plenty of potential, but it’s still in Early Access and is EXTREMELY rough and seems to go in a very mismanaged direction. Right now, the original feels more complete and has better exploration, vehicles, music and overall pacing. Also the lore feels surprisingly more "real" in the original, especially when it comes to the voice acting. The sequel on the other hand.... Well, It's not great. Inventory management can get annoying and gathering materials can become repetitive, but those are minor complaints compared to how good the full experience is. ALSO, I was HAPPILY surprised that this older game contains SPRINTING! Apparently it was added in the final update in 2022, but to be unable to sprint in a SANDBOX game released in 2026. A tragedy. I expected it to feel outdated after playing Subnautica 2 first. It didn’t. Next is Below Zero, also with a multiplayer mod, because apparently I refuse to play these games alone.
