Glider deployment still broken on PC. Will wait a year while they fix the bugs and story.
очень скудно за 9 лет ожиданий и такой прайс в $30
It's lacking something that the first 2 had but I'm still liking it....get it when there's a good sale.
I have pink magenta colored cubes in the sky graphics that wont go away no matter what settings i set in game. i have a AMD system and no issues with anything else. its during the ship parts of the game as well as the wall. other parts of the game are fine. gameplay so far is fun but these bugs need adressed thanks.
Серия держит планку, есть развитие, но и есть к чему придраться, с ходу зайти в нее новичку будет тяжело, но в общем и целом игра получилась годной.
WOOOOHOOOOOO! What a rush! I don't know what others are crying about but this game is definitely in my top 10, I love you Cyanide studios & Nacon for this! <3 Styx 1 was the perfect masterpeice, a passion burning, a bright idea. Styx 2 was ♥♥♥♥, idk whatr what went wrong or if they were trying to copy someone or it was corporate greed but it was ♥♥♥♥. Styx 3 brought it all back, the feeling of real stealth, having powers and actually be able to use them at my own expense, wow! No medals like styx 2, no bs, just pure fun. The stealth felt good, the powers are amazing, Styx feels mature now and that's what i'd expect from a 3rd part in the series, the fighting system is so much better now, and i love the crew! Thanks again cyanide studios, hope y'all find a new publisher or management and we get a similar styx 4 soon. (PS I love the graphics, UE5 bugs aside lol - styx looks beautiful!)
ass, series getting progressively worse
Very strange recommendation from me. Yeah its the worst in the series. but the the series as a whole is probably in my top ten The other two are better games. but even if they didn't exist this would be a top 20 game for me. Gameplay its more of the same. feels like an extended dlc to Shards of darkness. I miss multiplayer.
This game is a mess, ive played all the styx games and this is by far the weakest entry. Pros: -The open world design for the levels seem far more open ended in how you go about completing them. -The core gameplay is solid like the rest of the series -Most of the newly introduced mechanics are great additions to the games sandbox Cons: -The script is terrible. -The plot never really has a sense that anything is progressing, you just go from objective to objective never gaining any insit into the antagonists obectives, how they are acheiving them, or how your actions (up untill the final hour or so of the game) are affecting anything. -There is virtually no charector progression for any of the cast, we learn almnost nothing about them other than surface level charector traits that you could probably figure out by just looking at a picture of them. -Seemingly one off charectors you meet once in the first chapter reappear in the final act out nowhere. -Voice acting was not great for the most part although I don't think the actors themselves are to blame for this. Saul Jephcott does as good a job as ever voicing Styx but the rest either seem miscast and/or they were given poor direction. Almost all the charectors (aside from styx) show little to no emotion when they talk. Lipsyncing is also atrocious. -The open world design quickly grows tiresome as you will be returning to the same three maps over and over for the duration of a playthrough. -Boss fights where underwleming to frustracting (with one acception). The final boss in particular was a massive disappointment, it ditches the stealth mechanics of this stealth game in favor of the melee system that you likley will have no practice with as it ussually only used when you get caught and can't run away (which with how open the levels are almost never happens). -Glitches. There are alot of glitches that I found throughout my playthrough. -Enemies would spawn clipped into the floor making them unable to move or be stealth killed. -Enemy AI would sometimes not trigger when entering new areas causing them to not begin patrol routes and resulting in most tactics the game has been teaching you to not work. -There are sections where you have the option to open cages or gates to let enemies fight eachother but this mechanic barelty functions, enemies seem incappable of moving through these door even after opening them. for example you can release some orcs from a jail cell, you would excpet them to go charging out and try to club the other NPC's but becuse they can't get through the open door, they wait around for a patrol to notice, they also can't get through the door so both sides just start chucking rocks at eachother. -Enemies would despawn and respawn seemingly at random. Its great when you walk into a room you thought was empty, get half way through it just for the game to remeber theres supposed to be something here causing you to be immediately spotted. -Lighting issues: might have been my settings but in particually dark rooms, toggling off dark vision would cause the room to turn completly black, which would be fine if moving more than a few steps didn't cause dark vision to toggle off. -general performance. a majority of the time the game ran fine. I don't actively track my FPS but if I had to guess the game kept a pretty stable 30FPS (take this with a grain of salt most of my hardware is pretty outdated) however there where some noticable drops in FPS and a few time the game completely froze for up to a minute. I personally never had the game crash. -objectives are repetitive. you will be doing the same thing for 80% of the game. Go into level, find crystal, realize crystal is locked behind something, go find the key, unlock the thing and collect crystal. There are a few self contained levels where the objective is changed bu these are ussually levels meant to give you practice with a newly unlocked mobility tool. overall if you really love the styx games its probably worth picking up at a decent discount like I did, the additions to the sandbox are pretty good and there are a handfull of momnets when the developers made something realy great (the boss fight where you have to fight the traitor orc was a stand out moment as you actually have to sneak around his camp and lay traps for him and use the skills you have been learning up to this point.). But for anyone intereted in getting into the styx games or isn't a diehard fan, skip this game, its just to repetitive, unpolished and buggy.
