Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.86/day in the week to Jul 31 → 2.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Believe me when I say that I wanted to love this game, I really really really did! It's just a little too simple, vanilla, limited and clunky, and it reaches points where you essentially can't win. You can literally rally endless waves of units to a battle, but units self-heal so quickly out of combat that if you're against anyone with even the most basic micromanagement of wounded units and you're fighting in anything resembling a chokepoint, it's very literally an endless unwinnable stalemate that you can't get past. I've played this vs AI as matchmaking doesn't work. For context, I am a very seasoned RTS player who has been playing competitive RTS games almost exclusively for 25 years - I hover around Masters in StarCraft 2 and am platinum/diamond in Age of Empires IV, so while I'm certainly not the best RTS player on Earth, I assure you it is not a skill issue, and I know what I'm doing - it's a balance and gameplay issue in its current iteration. It's early days and early access, and so I'm hopeful it gets better, but I just struggled to want to boot this game up in its current state. I'd like to see more unit variety and versatility and way more upgrade abilities and options - both military and economical. They've also gone with the exact same dated formula as Warcraft 1 and 2 (almost an identical rip off you could argue), whereby each of the two factions (orcs vs humans.... hmmm?) have 100% identical units (same cost, attack type, damage, health, training time, movement speed, etc. only with different names and skins... think Grunt vs Footman). Just like WC1 and WC2, the only difference between races are the spells and in my opinion that model doesn't work anymore in 2026... you need variety amongst the races and clear counters for units. StarCraft 2 did this perfectly and was a huge reason it was so incredibly successful. All in all, this game had some nice nostalgia pop for me, and it has the bones to be a great game - it just... isn't one... not even in the ballpark. It tilts more on the frustrating, transactional side, rather than a fun, enjoyable game that you'd want to invest in. There's no appetite to get grind and get good at this game, partially because there's nothing to get "good" at. Rally units with clunky pathing > micro wounded units to the back > do this until you run out of resources or you get bored > quit the game.

Good : It's a fun game. If you like Warcraft 2, this is the closest thing to a direct sequel we'll get. It has a surprising amount of attention to detail that you don't really get in the RTS genre. I find myself spending time playing a custom game just because the core gameplay loop is fun. The dev updates the game often and have a roadmap they stick to. Bad : It is still for the most part a very vanilla game that is retreading waters from the 1990s and not really adding much to the formula. Although it has a much deeper simulation than something like WC2, I can't shake this feeling of shallowness when I play it. It's still very early access, no campaign, a lot of player created content, playing the game in the "intended way" is impossible to discern from the amount of settings offered. The heroes are very underwhelming to the point where I wonder why they included them at all.
Unplayable garbage after the recent updates. The AI has completely ruined the game over the last six months. Playing in hero mode with an AI ally is now an exercise in pure frustration because it actively sabotages everything you do. Here is how the game breaks: 1. Economy and Item Sabotage: Every single opponent builds the 'Staff of Blinking' for 750 gold. You, however, can never buy it because your AI completely drains the treasury, constantly wasting gold so the bank stays stuck at 500-600. Since you can't buy it, your opponents always blink away from you, and you can never catch them. You are always at a disadvantage. Furthermore, when you desperately need to buy health or mana potions, the AI completely dumps all the money into the army, leaving you with absolutely zero gold in critical moments. While this used to be tolerable before, now that you have zero room for error, it becomes absolutely critical, and you will always lose because of this bank deficit. Because you can't buy these essentials, you are practically taken out of the game entirely. Performing any actions whatsoever with zero health is fundamentally impossible—you can't defend your base, you can't attack the enemy hero, and your only option left in this situation is to die. And the sole reason for this is your AI completely draining the bank to zero. 2. Production and Rally Point Mess: While you can still manage to gather forces by running around the locations in the early game when you have just one or two bases, it becomes a nightmare later on. In the late game, when you have three or more bases, you completely lose all control over your army. Production facilities are scattered all over the map, and you can't even gather your forces because the AI instantly sends units into attack when they exit the barracks. 3. Brain-dead Military Logic: The AI actively works against your moves. If I march an army into battle, my AI sends reinforcements in the exact opposite direction. 4. Suicidal Units and Idle Dwarfs: The AI constantly sends one or two Dwarf units into suicidal attacks against fortified castles, throwing troops away for absolutely nothing. Worse yet, very often these Dwarfs just stand right outside the enemy fortress doing absolutely nothing instead of attacking it. Meanwhile, the clock is ticking, the enemy hero manages to respawn, and you lose your advantage out of nowhere. 5. Broken Archer Logic and Obstacles: Do Peasant Archers never miss now? What is this and why? Even if you run in the opposite direction, their arrows still track and hit you. Meanwhile, your own archer character misses targets way more often now. Why does the game logic apply differently here? On top of that, shooting through obstacles remains a completely useless feature that you cannot control or cancel. You used to tolerate it before, but now it constantly throws the match because the game leaves you less and less room for error. Winning in Heroes Mode is now mathematically impossible because your own AI throws the game. Do not buy this until they fix the brain-dead ally logic.
Banger game, super fun and reminds of warcraft 3. In this state of EA, the dev/devs are very active so looking forward to improvements! Wishlist: * More units and more clear counter units (at the moment orc wyvern is super hard to counter) * More strategic choices to make during games. At the moment it's just throw units until someone wins. Would be nice to have tech/unit trees that take longer to reach with good rewards, that would need some actions to be countered, things that would promote scouting (like dark templars in sc2) * Camps or unique map objectives giving player random (or 1 out of 3) powers that would enable new strategies and unique tactics. (Like AoM god powers or something) * 3rd faction most of all!
I really like the Scouring. It's a great Real-time Strategy game with the unique feature of having units actually be visible garrisoning the structures that you use to produce them. It reminds me a lot of Warcraft 3 gameplay, and art style. I really like the community and the creativity of the maps created by players. The two factions - Orcs and Humans could be more asymmetrical and different from each other as right now they are almost similar in gameplay mechanics. But a third faction, more unique units, and more researches can fix that. The game is worth the money and early access is great.

this game is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ imitation of warcraft 2. the AI is really dumb but works efficiently to over power you. What i mean is that if you help your AI allies they run away and the AI allies will never come aid you when you are attacked. But the AI is so efficient at micromanagement that you always lose the edge. lets say you go attack a base; after that all of a sudden the AI knows you don't have defenses and every AI enemy forces will come attack you and it only works in that way; it doesn't work opposite of that. Also the game needs a save button; played a really good setup and the game crashed and wouldn't load the progress. It needs manual saving.
Игра своего рода ремейк на игру War Craft 2. Рекомендую.
Soothes my hankering for old school Warcraft. Wish there was more voice over lines for units instead of grunts but I get it. Fun game so far. Loving the different modes. Can be quite the challenge on hard but that's the way its suppose to be!
