Health, Hunger, Thirst, and sunstroke. Manage and monitor these vitals through an interactive survival watch. Cure poisons, heal broken bones, and bandage bleeding to stay alive.
Spears, Axes, Bows, Spearguns, and so much more can all be crafted through an interactive crafting menu or by the quick-craft selection wheel. Items in your inventory and on the ground around you can all be crafted into something useful.

Bro, everything in this game is just so IRRITATING! The controls are annoying, you have to hold some button almost on everything which spends my time 2x, you have to drop something and use it, then pick it up again then drop over and over again. You spend a lot of time doing boring things like making stones or gathering the wood or some else bs and the game just doesn't care about it, you are not allowed to have fun, wanna go sunbathing? nope SPF! wanna go swimming? nope there are sharks everywhere! wanna go gather some materials? nope, we have bores and snakes and crabs to keep you from doing it! Go and make yourself a weapon and try to use it on a thing that is faster than sonic and will hit you first always by running in the air above your head. Hey? You started to have fun with your friend? Disconnect! Meanwhile, go and explore the same generic islands that will offer you such amazing things as rocks, sticks and leaves. WHAT A FUN TIME!

Followed this game since development, while watching a couple of online YT characters play though the adventure, but not to the point the game is today. It's a simple game, stay alive and don't get eaten by sharks. Sounds easy enough, but there are hurdles to conquer and achievement to gain, as you map your way across the ocean, setting up camps and using resources. I'm about 40 hours in and the game does feel monotonous, but still enjoy the crafting aspect.

This game was so promising back during early access like 10 years ago. This feels so horrid it isnt funny
I bought this game in 2016 - Yes, Im that old - and while its still unique in its ability to scratch an island survival itch over other games, I cant recommend it anymore. The devs clearly dont give a s*** about it at this point and began working on a sequel before even getting the current game to a point of being consistently playable. Actually, the last we heard about the sequel was a year and a half ago, so who knows how real that even is anymore. If you can get this game dirt cheap and dont mind buggy games, sure, go for it, but otherwise I'd recommend spending your money elsewhere.
Multiplayer is extremely glitchy, uses 2013 graphics. Very slow game pace
