Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 4.86/day in the week to Sep 1 → 8.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I can't in good consciousness recommend this pile of trash. And I honestly don't understand the amount of positive reviews. The quality of this game is underwhelming, it's a bugfest at best. -The menus are a pain in the arse to navigate. Both the crafting menu and the menu of storage containers. -Crafting is unrealistic and doesn't make sense resource wise (a wall made of sticks, palm leaves, and ropes only costs sticks to make), and on top of that even necessary recipes are locked behind a level system. Want to focus on water first and build a water catcher? Nope, go craft nonsense and build a villa first, cuz you ain't got the exp for it. wut? -Building placement is an insane pain too, you have to build 5 kilometers away from anything, and even then you probably won't be able to build a stove that's on the same side of the island as your hut. -Islands are just disappointing too, and there is not enough resource (of course) to keep you going, also thanks to the leveling system forcing you to waste resources on making trash for exp. -So you go farm other islands in order to gather some things, but oh look, when you come back all your things are gone! =) So you put your things into these wooden boxes you keep finding, but they only have three slots. A huge storage box, that only has three slots.... and they despawn too if you go too far away. Too far being two islands. -So you're kinda forced to haul everything you own around with you on a raft and live mobile (which is kinda cool because they really nailed the waves and wobbly, and the storm has nice bigger waves too, which is cool), or you build your human cancer right away and make storage that's bolted down. (With those 3 slot boxes, dozens of them....) -Exploration sucks just as much, I've multiple times got stuck because the prompt to climb ladders (both up and down) just randomly vanished and never came back. And sharks of course only ever attack from behind. You will never see them coming. -Music is terrible, it doesn't fit the setting at all. -Hitboxes are like adjusted by fromsoft. Even if someone's right in front of you, it's like 50% chance if you'll hit them or not. -Nights are INSANELY long in this game. If you have no option to sleep, have fun taking a shower, have some me-time in the shower, put your towels into laundry, cook food, put on fresh clothes(yes in this order), and sit down on your desk with food and it's still dark. (Or use cheats.) -There is a lot more, but I'm so sick of this game I will finish the list with the best of the best; there is NO save on exit. Real life doesn't matter for this game, you will live in this game, or die in this game. Or lose your progress as punishment. I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ TRIED to give this game a meaning. I tried it vanilla, I tried it permadeath and i tried it the normal way, i gave up and tried it modded, i changed 90% of islands with player made islands, i added every even remotely usefuly mod to give this game the life that it didn't have before and..... it became playable, somehow, minimally. But the joy i still have not found in anything other than sailing the stormy ocean waves. Because everything else is just a broken, bugged and glitchy mess that's not worth investing time into it. And since the sharks won't face me head-on.... oh whatever... I am done with this ♥♥♥♥.. I only recommend this game to the sort of mentally depraved human that only cares about living the human way of life; destroying and killing an entire world for your own "survival" (aka entertainment), because you BELIEVE that you matter more than everyone else. Go have fun here, it's a copy and paste of every other game of this sort. OR, tho the player playing with friends, and those friends being so fun that it doesn't matter if the game sucks. Or if you got the game for free and REALLY have nothing better to do.

Boring and repetetive with no feeling of actually getting anything done even if you do cause ur so bored the whole time
Multiplayer takes FOREVER to load. Reviving other Players in Multiplayer is rather costly in the first few days at least. If both people die in Multiplayer, 2 seems to be the max, the game exits, no "click here to use last save point" or whatever, no, it exits the session, you got to make a new one, load from last save, takes forever to load again, like 10 minutes to open a multiplayer session ffs. I got 32 cores and all this shouldn't take that long. Lots of Bugs with railing not climbeable, hogs running weird in circles etc. etc. Early Access AF but old and no updates, do not buy this game for full price. MAYBE buy it at a heavy discount if you only play solo.

Before you point out my play time and why the bad review, read on... 1.0.38 in January 2024 was the last update. 2 years since, Discussion boards and website forums say game is "finished" and devs have moved on to Stranded Deep 2. Stranded Deep has still waaaay too many bugs, QoL issues, MP issues, etc. for this title to be considered what I would call "finished"...and if no future updates happen to this title, this game can kiss future sales goodbye. If this is a "finished" product, then I can only imagine how finished Stranded Deep 2 will be and you better believe I'll be saving my money on that. BeamTeam, I would advise you revisit QA on this title. I'm extremely disappointed.
