It's a fun game to just shut my brain off and kill some aliens and robots. Really liking it so far, and I find the progression system really fair and enjoyable.
The game is fun until the 3rd level where it becomes unplayable on an RX 9070 XT.
El juego esta muy guapo pero hay un problema con los escudos de los enemigos del segundo nivel, que rompen el juego, espero que solucionen pronto este problema. :)
This game is sooooooooo FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i love it
*Original review at the bottom* Not a bad game, but it's pretty short and easy, though you shouldn't expect too much for $20. There are a total of 5-6 zones (I think it's 5 but I might be forgetting 1) and 3 bosses, and each zone has maybe 2 or 3 configurations so it doesn't take long to become familiar with them. The first couple playthroughs will be the hardest due to lack of skills and higher rarity weapons, after unlocking a few upgrades it gets significantly easier, to a point that you can easily complete a run in under 20 minutes, even 15 if you get a little bit of good RNG on weapons and storm bindings. The final boss becomes a joke very fast. The weapons have an info box that only shows their rarity, speed, and range. No real indicator in terms of how much damage they do, and the only elemental weapon that's really worth getting are the ice ones since then briefly freeze an enemy. The poison and fire ones are usually weaker than a non-elemental of the same type and rarity. My only real complaints are that the invulnerability from the Slide and Air Dash don't last as long as the animation makes it seem they do, making it closer to a slightly generous frame perfect mechanic. There also seems to be a bug when having a support item (i.e. shield) that's on cooldown and swapping it with a health potion, once you pick up the health potion there's a delay in the game letting you use the potion that seems to be tied to the cooldown timer of the item you had to swap for. Other than that, it's a fun little play, but I wouldn't expect to get countless hours of playtime on this. If you're a casual gamer that only plays for a few hours a week this isn't a bad game to get, but I personally wouldn't spend $20 on it. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Bought this mostly because it was on sale for $13, not a bad price for the concept. Game has a few bugs, one of which prevents getting all the achievements. You have 2 abilities that are supposed to provide you with temporary invulnerability, Slide and Air Dash. I've taken damage while in the middle of using these abilities (your character turns white indicating the invulnerability) on multiple occasions, forcing me to have to restart different zones while trying to get the 'no damage' achievements too many times. The last achievement I need is to acquire every Soul Etching, and after purchasing everything the vendor in the ship offers, the game says I'm missing 3, but I already have them all. Overall it's not a bad game, but there are some very annoying bugs, especially if you care about getting all the achievements. If you don't care about the achievements then this is probably worth a buy while it's on sale. EDIT: After receiving some feedback from a dev, I kept playing and eventually unlocked all the Soul Etchings and was able to get the last achievement.
Besides the fact the shielding enemies crash my game on the 3rd level, it's one of the bests games I've bought. Worth my cash, and I can't wait for the bug to be fixed. I do acknowledge that this is still a game that's kind of new, so I did expect to find bugs, but I'm not going to hate. Even if I have to wait days or weeks, it will be worth it. (We need art of the fox creatures!! :3)
I normally dont play these type of games but since the demo request for orbs on discord i got captured. I bought it and played it after it was available, and i can say that i enjoy it a lot. i didnt get into any problems and everything worked well. Only suggestion from me is I would love for the game to put out a multiplayer coop option and not a local coop.
It’s a cool game, especially in co-op. I like the fights, art style, and music, and I have a lot of fun playing it with friends.
