I like that the action is challenging enough to keep the player on their toes, yet easy enough to not get too frustrated. Additionally, though the completion will typically require quite a few playthroughs to discover the correct path, the areas change somewhat when being replayed so as not to bore the player with the exact same area over and over. The storylines on playthroughs feel like Choose Your Own Adventure books, if any viewers know the series I am referring to. I overall love the game, though I think it lags on my device a bit, and I uncovered what I think is a glitch - or two, perhaps. I also think the narration is well done. However, I'll admit I am a sucker for a good fox protagonist, so another source might be better than I, especially since I have eagerly waited for a year or two to play this after first learning of it online. I would give it (so far) a modest 7.5/10, this taking into account my possible fox-protag bias. Ultimately, I think its best to dip your toes in other sources; perhaps try looking at gameplay clips if you can find any. It'll be worth your time if you like similar stories/action. Take a look for yourself, don't take my word for it alone!
The choose-your-own-adventure structure is fun. The combat takes a bit to get good but then it is flashy fun. The game could use more enemy variety. The true ending is worth the pursuit and takes less than 5 hours to reach. Getting all of the achievements is too much of a grind. All achievements is ~15 hours of total playtime but not worth it because of how repetitive things would be.
pretty fun for the first few ending/time loops, but then the repition of places and choices starts to feel less worth it. i just got the four necessary truths and went for the ending, which was predictable (and reductive of the female character) but okay. i might get the other endings if i feel like hacking and slashing maybe.
The game is alright. It has a decent combat system once you get some of the upgrades that is actually pretty fun when you get into it. The game is not good enough IMO to replay the game to get all endings, but it is worth getting to the true ending. I managed to beat the game in the minimum number of "Runs" based on some game design sense and the devs made it so that if you did make the "commom choice", it is not too hard to get to the true ending, which I appreciated a lot. I do quite like the narrative and the characters. It's fairly standard with nothing too crazy but it is a feel good story overall. It might be a bit normie but I like the normie stuff. The rpg systems really didnt need to be there, but I guess it does not really detract from the game at all so it's passable. The game's visuals, music, and the narrator are all well done and surprising brings a wholesome feeling to the whole game. The narrator did a good job. If you are okay with decent combat and some downtime running around while going through a fun and interesting narrative I'd say you can pick this up. The game is pretty simple, so you wont find something complex or "gamer activation" here. A nice and chill game.
a fox, a book and the feeling that you are stuck in this cycle forever.
jogo bem divertido! combate relativamente simples, mas o real foco do jogo é na história, narrações e escolhas. Tem algumas coisas engraçadinhas outras que tu só passa batido, mas no geral gostei de passar um tempo jogando esse jogo...
charming narrative-wise and worth playing for a few hours, but the process of getting all endings becomes very tedious, and, unfortunately, the gameplay doesn't bring much variety to make up for it...
