About
The city burns and bleeds as it suffers the madness of King Louis XVI and his violent legions of automatons. Aegis, a mechanical masterpiece created by the engineer Vaucanson to be the queen's bodyguard, must save the French Revolution in this challenging action-RPG.
Up against the king's mechanical soldiers, deadly accuracy will be needed. String together dodges, parries, jumps and devastating attacks to fight your way through Paris. Every fight will test your nerve and requires excellent discipline, while the huge relentless machine bosses demand patience and skill.
Define your own style and upgrade your abilities as you progress through the game. You can play as a ruthless warrior, a hard-hitting bodyguard, a deadly dancer or a virtuoso of the elemental arts. Take advantage of a wide variety of weapons and skills to approach each fight in your own unique way.
Using carriages, grapples, secret passages, a detailed map, and other methods and tools you find along the way, explore a city experiencing its darkest days. Your grappling hook adds a new dimension to exploration and Paris's verticality. Combined with your dash ability, it will provide access to all the city's secrets across multiple levels you can explore over and over again.
You are one of the main characters of an alternative history where Paris is being choked by a tyrant king. Allies and enemies with unclear motives will cross your path, such as Marie-Antoinette, Lafayette and Robespierre. It's up to you to cut a path through all the plotting and put an end to one man's madness so that the French Revolution succeeds.

Игра потребляет 28гб Vram из 32 на 5090, графика самая обычная, видимо с 22 года не смогли разрабы устранить косяк с требованием к vram The game consumes 28GB of VRAM out of 32 on 5090, the graphics are very ordinary, apparently the developers have not been able to fix the issue with the VRAM requirement since 2022

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

So apart from getting stuck on scenery left, right and centre... Let me introduce you to the 'Echoes' idea. Echoes are memories you need to find to unlock new areas or proceed with the game. But they're in places you've already completed - the game gives you stuff, like a grappling hook - so you can access them. But which area is it in? Where in that area? Who knows? So you've got to watch Youtube vids to find out where... Oh. And there's 28 of them. Absolutely forget it. If I'd known this about the game before hand? I wouldn't have bought it. They want you to run through levels you've already completed looking for a white dot hidden somewhere. What an absolute joke.
★Rendimiento: Tiene problemas. A veces crashea; me habrá pasado unas 3 veces. ★Online: No ★Gráficos: Buenos.
This one deserves more attention than it has gotten. First off it is alternative history which is unique, at least to me; I think the only other games I have that fit this descriptor are the last two Wolfenstein games which were great in their own right. I know other sci fi creates alternate worlds, but this one has actual historical figures in it like Lafayette so it is unique in that regard. This setting and story and nicely put forward, and the gameplay/mechanics could be described as being on the way easier side of the soulslike spectrum. Also you should note this not a highly finished and polished product. I always have to mention when, in a videogame, you can get stuck between objects or between the wall and a chest or something like that, and that for sure happened to me in this one! So consider it a rough, indie soulslike that didn't have a good final edit before release. Like I said earlier, it is quite easy and I suspect even non-souls players will have a cakewalk going through this. At start you can only do normal or some easy setting where you can adjust your statline significantly. Don't know how NG+ works, as I'm not sure if I'm going to do that eventually. I'd recommend not doing the easy mode/stat changing as you very easily become over-levelled and powerful by the end of the game on normal. As for DLC I did it towards the end of the game and my comment for it is that it is fun but short, basically just one extra location and you get a few extra crafting things and weapons but none of them crucial. I got the entire game (base+DLC) for a little over 5 and I'd say it was worth that since DLC is prob less than a dollar of the price. Looking at the entire package (the deluxe ed) I feel you get your money's worth. Hell you can't even see a movie for 5 anymore. Also some positives and uniques for this game include the weapons. I actually like how each weapon ties a specific defensive maneuver to it. So usually in these games you choose to roll way/ block/ or parry as your defensive move and can do any of them with any weapon. But the weapons here will tie in a block or a parry as its special (or it has neither and the roll away is your defensive). I really liked that since I don't like having to constantly figure am I parrying this guy or blocking or rolling, I choose my primary weapon and then I know what my defensive move is going to be. And of course you get a secondary slot and can switch and so on, so very customizable. All in all, good job you scrappy studio that seems to be no more.... Overall: 7/10
I would rate this game about 8.5 out of 10 – I liked the game a lot, but it had some flaws. I would count the extremely bad facial animations/cutscenes and not-so-frequent game crashes among the flaws. The characters did not look natural at all while speaking (it was also fairly choppy), and the game crashed in very unfortunate moments, like the dialogues after killing bosses (I had to kill 1 boss about 4 times before figuring out how to prevent the crash). But otherwise, I quite liked the combat loops and the leveling felt impactful, especially as the Dancer class. I went from a squishy understudy to an unstoppable elegant/graceful killing machine. The setting was interesting and the areas distinct – from the Paris underbelly to Versailles. The story was unique and captivating, even though eventually, quite tragic.
The setting is interesting, the artwork is good, but the gameplay is incredibly boring and repetitive.
It's like Lies of P and Steelrising were given the same assignment but one got an A+ and the other got a C. LOP was presented by the valedictorian who spent all semester on it and made a product that felt like a Fromsoft developed game published under a pseudonym, while Steelrising feels like it was made by a well intentioned but average student in the class who kind of winged it halfway towards the deadline. I feel like the worst part is that it could have been very good. It's not soulsslop like many soulslike games that feel made purely to cash in on a popular genre (e.g like the original Lords of the Fallen or Hellpoint), there's just too much effort clearly felt here and it gets too much right. Nor is it an ununique but very competent soulslike either (e.g Mortal Shell or A.I Limit), as it was the first released bloodbourne but with animatronic puppets game and has a jumping mechanics before Eldin Ring. And if it wasn't for LOP just doing almost everything that made this interesting better in every way, there wouldn't be anything else like Steelrising (which did release before LOP btw) and I think this would be better received, even if it doesn't deserve it, just for the creativity. But the interesting ideas here just aren't that great and mostly half baked. The robot aspects feel more gimmicky than anything and just playing this like any other souls game is still the meta anyways (enemies and bosses definitely can't handle the hug the booty strategy). I can go into each mechanic (the jump, overheat, ranged weapons, etc) and explain why it's undercooked but from the amount of reviews that already do that it be unnecessary to repeat. But still, I can't give it a thumbs down because it's good enough. It looks great, there's effort into the story, and it plays well enough. So, if you need your souls fix and you've just exhausted even the backups, then this can give it. There is enough going on to be that, especially when the game is less than $6 on sale now for the complete addition. But it's not going to be high up on anyone's tier list.
