For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

It doesn’t change the formula too much, and it’s still enjoyable
SteamWorld Dig 2 is a very faithful continuation of the previous game’s formula. It keeps that mix of digging, exploration, and upgrades in a larger and better-connected map, without trying to reinvent anything. Its biggest strength lies in how well it links abilities, paths, and secrets so that progression always feels natural. There is not much innovation, but the execution is far more polished, with better pacing, a stronger sense of progression. I enjoyed it precisely because of that. If you liked the first game, this one is very unlikely to disappoint you, since it clearly understands what needed to be expanded and what needed to be preserved. That said, I would not expect a revolution for the genre. It is more about refinement than breaking new ground, and for me that was not a problem, but it is worth keeping in mind.

SteamWorld Dig 2 is a stylish and genuinely engaging adventure. It pulls you in quickly with its atmosphere, charming visuals, and a great sense of progression. Digging through the mines, collecting resources, and upgrading your gear feels smooth and satisfying, and each new ability makes exploration even more fun. The areas are varied and filled with secrets, so every descent feels fresh. The story is light but enjoyable, and the characters add a lot of charm. It’s a comfortable, well-paced game that stays interesting from start to finish. A great choice if you want a cozy and captivating adventure.
SteamWorld Dig 2 surprised me in the best way. The blend of exploration, upgrades, and light platforming kept me digging deeper every time I played. Each new tool or ability genuinely changes how you approach the mines, which makes progression feel exciting. The visuals are charming and colorful, and the soundtrack fits the pace perfectly — not too intrusive but still memorable. I also liked how the game balances challenge and accessibility; it’s not frustrating, but there’s enough risk that you have to think a bit before rushing into things. Overall, it’s a smart, fun adventure that feels polished from start to finish. Highly recommend for anyone who enjoys exploration-focused games with a bit of heart.
game is a good game but no chines play a JB
As with SteamWorld Dig, this game continues in pretty much the same style as the previous title. You dig down, collect stuff, sell them, upgrade your equipment and rinse and repeat. But it is highly addicting and I couldn't stop playing this game for two whole days. The core game play concept works and I have no bad things to say about it. There are a few upgrades from the previous game. Like more movement options, faster movement and combat gear. They all saw good amounts of play but only the grenade launcher was kinda under utilized and I only used it in couple of places. On bosses it was great. Speaking of bosses, there was only couple of them in the game and I could have used more challenges along the way. The game was super easy and for the luck of me, I only died once while exploring under lava if there was any secrets under there. so I didn't get the achievement for playing through the game without dying. Oh well. Music was groovy and it tied nicely to the exploration loop. There was some lateral exploration this time, which I did like. The end of the game came suddenly, I did explore every nook and cranny of the map while having upgrades that let me find secrets more easily and I was still missing quite a lot of collectibles. I went through a door and BOOM, last boss. So I did miss a lot of stuff that way. But I can't complain about that price of the game that was around 1€. Good value to your buck and definitely a recommended pick up on sale.
