Rating: 8.5/10 State of Decay 2 is one of the best zombie survival sandbox games available if you enjoy creating your own stories rather than following a scripted campaign. Instead of focusing on a single protagonist, you manage an entire community of survivors, balancing food, medicine, morale, fuel, and defenses while exploring an open world overrun by zombies. What it does well: Excellent survival gameplay: Every supply run feels risky because losing a survivor is permanent. Community management: Recruiting survivors with unique skills and personalities gives each playthrough a different feel. Base building: Upgrading and customizing your home base is rewarding and affects your long-term survival. Replayability: Multiple maps, difficulty settings, random events, and survivor combinations keep the game fresh. Co-op multiplayer: Playing with friends makes scavenging and fighting hordes much more enjoyable. Weaknesses: The story is minimal and mostly serves as a framework for the sandbox. Melee and gunplay are functional but not exceptional. Missions can become repetitive after many hours. Although much improved since release, occasional bugs and AI quirks still exist.
+REP Отличная игра, по очень жирной скидке.
Dispite what people says about character control, this is good enough. Recent game are more fluid but that does not border me. The gameplay loop is good and a must to play in team or with friends (up to 4).
Great game, would highly recommend this to anyone who has the slightest interest in Zombie survival games. Unlike 'Days gone' or 'The last of us' games, which are both masterpieces in there own right, SOD games don't rely on a linear story, but this means they are infinitely replayable unlike the aforementioned, as good as they may be. And although SOD2 doesn't have that linear story, what it does have is an overarching narrative that drives the game forward. Look, I have been playing this game since release, and yes even today, it does still have a few bugs and a slight jank, but compared to how it was on release it's now a great game to play, and it's so cheap to buy that not giving it a try seems a little mean. Next year sees the release of SOD3, and from what I've seen of this new SOD it promises to be leaps and bounds beyond the curent one, and so what better time to get into the series than with SOD2, it's definitely worth your time . Having personally put hundreds of hours into this game (multiple platfoms) I can say I still get a buzz starting a new play through. Finally, a word to Microsoft. If the rumours of closing Undead Labs are in anyway true, then imo you have completely lost the plot. This game may not be the biggest seller ever, but it drives a loyal group of gamers who appreciate the immersion and depth of such games over the monetised slop many publishers are now offering. 07/0726 Well, we all know by now how stupid Microsoft really is. Probably the only game out of MS that I was personally interested in, has now been sold off, and we all know what that means. But crap like Fable, and clod hopping generic ♥♥♥♥ like Gears has been kept. Ah well, I moved from Windows to linux a couple of years ago -Best decision I ever made btw, and now Xbox is dead too. Best wishes to Undead Labs, but I fear the worst even though supposedly SOD3 is still going to release. I hold by breath
it's fun to play with friends
just love it
