This game is THE best Bethesda game of all time. Morrowind and Oblivion do not stand up to this experience mostly because of the little moments and little details that make the game more of an experience than a blaster/shooter/adventure game. The little details are found within the scanning for different species. Some of the elements to scan beyond the foliage and creatures blow the mind. But even when you wish to literally blow a mind, you are able to do that too. I also love Morrowind and Oblivion, by the way, so please don't take it to heart. This game is worth it's weight in a space vacuum, and, perhaps, gold latinum.
game is fun. i play with mods.

This game had and can have potential, its not bad its not good but it to a point where I had fun and enjoyed it, mostly because of MODS and missions.
MODS
people blame Bethesda for using "free labor" and I hate it when Modder's are called "free labor" YES Bethesda didn't finish the game but the way I see it, Modder's don't have to make mods to fix or add things to the game they choose to and if that what keeps the game alive so be it.
GAME
I do like the missions there were enjoyable and fun I may be simply minded or a Bethesda Fan but It was good, small note I'm not into "woke" stuff I do think its funny and dumb, no one should be feeding a message it should just be entertaining, but there is way too many women leaders not saying it isn't possible but make them at least knowledgeable and fit the leader role the literal President didn't know she was harboring a war criminal sum that up to writing which in the kindest way possible its bad almost about trash, now there is no freedom in this game but I played the game Super Cereal so can't really have my 2 cents.
SUMMARY
Its good I don't mind it, I think its about trying to find your own fun in this sandbox but you have to pay to enter if you get the deluxe edition sandbox you get two big castle molds one purple the other one orange, and the people are making different sized and colored molds paid or free depends where you get them.
RANT
Base on the limited amount of space games I've played and few I have Interest in, this is better than Mass Effect I can already see pitchforks, well I even think Bethesda is way better at making RPGs than Bioware I WILL l DIE ON THIS HILL .
I love this game between Xbox and steam i have over 1000 hours on the game multiple play throughs with the new dlc and things they added with out creation mods has made my love even greater but issues i still don't understand why they have not done is add modifications for the star born ship like it could be amazing if they just add parts for it even if its only specific things for it and no other id love to upgrade it and make it a ship worth flying.
Hundreds of hours per char, with lot's of replay value.
Disclaimer: standard Bethesda bugginess applies. Starfield may crash a lot on some systems especially as one plays over longer stretches of time. This is my second copy of the game, the other being on console. I do recommend this game, but not as originally released. Starfield has a lot of emptiness to it and I don't mean just in outer space. Bethesda seemingly designed Starfield with the idea of harnessing a paid mod marketplace and so left room for enterprising mod authors to add their own content and tweaks. However, once you add Bethesda's Shattered Space, Terran Armada, and Trackers Alliance expansions the game does fill out enough to justify purchasing and playing (grab it all during a sale). Once you have played through Bethesda's content I recommend giving serious consideration to mods (both free and paid) that have been thoroughly reviewed on Youtube. For example: Watchtower retails for about $10 and expands the game with fleet command, orbital strikes, and giant mech enemies. Most mods are considerably cheaper. Avoid paid mods that you cannot find positive reviews for or which look sketchy. Special note goes to the game's modular shipbuilding system. If you grew up building Legos this will be the best part of Starfield for you. When it starts to get old I recommend ship part and hab mods such as ASC Deimos, ASC Taiyo, Falkland, and Luxurious Ship Habs. My God they're beautiful.
