I have hundreds of hours on Xbox/Windows. Bought it here for the mods. Starfield is a good game. Try to judge it by its own merits, not what the hype or the haters say. I was also disappointed somewhat on release, but I still liked the game. The addition of vehicles and cruise mode add a lot. Check it out. It might be a new Bethesda world for you to get lost in. I did.
An incredible galactic adventure. Would do it all again. Don't think I actually completed the stort, ended where it was a good ending, 97h in.
I loved this game for years now. I keep coming back to it.
I have enjoyed this game a lot for everyone who said it sucked I think it was just not their kind of game and their mad bestda tried to make something new. And its the trend to hate on the game. But I have liked this game and has a lot potential but everyone just ♥♥♥♥♥ on it. As someone who has played many space games I would say this can be a decent one.

Like many, Morrowind, and most particularly Skyrim were extreme highs in my early gaming life. The promise of having the same people tackle space exploration was a match made in heaven for me. But I did read up on it, and decided to wait before trying it. Well, now I'm only 4 hours in, but I believe this game to be fundamentally flawed in a way that is very apparent from the first 30min. This is a game that's supposed to be an ode to space exploration, where you don't ever feel like you're navigating space. Space in this game is just a suggestion, a vague concept, you teleport from and to it via menus, not in an Eve Online way where you're basically head-first in a UX nightmare and barely looking at the environment, in a way where it's clearly apparent that there is no Space to speak of, just theaters interconnected via un map telling you it's made up of planets and stars and stuff. You can't navigate from A to B and feel it, you can't land on a planet, you can't launch from a planet. You're just in a constant flux of loading screens. I expected it to feel like it was mostly working around a few technical limitations, but at this point I'm convinced this game has no direction to speak of, and this is just an attempt at replicating past successes, failing at replicating most of what made Skyrim successful, all the while pretending it's a space game, which it most definitely is not. I'm very perplexed, and have lost most of my hopes for the next entry in the ES series.
