Starfield is the first new universe in 25 years from Bethesda Game Studios, the award-winning creators of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and Fallout 4.
Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 12.57/day in the week to Jul 30 → 15.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Another game that was super fun at release that fell off after a couple weeks, mods ruin the game and no multiplayer is a down side, honestly don't play it if you have any other game you want to play. Story was also seriously boring and I gave up with it after 15 hours, game also looks grainy and horrible even with a 4070TI Super on 1440 (I usually run 4K). Do NOT waste money on this as Bethesda just isn't good anymore
I don't know why I keep buying Bethesda games after fallout 76. It's a normal Bethesda game with neat space ships, lame Bethesda gunplay but better gun mods, 1000 planets and some stuff on like 10. Building and resources are kind of clunky. It's like 4 games in 1 and none of them are all that great. i never played NG+ but the starborn thing isn't all that motivating. Honestly, I've reinstalled this twice and I can go like 5 hours before I just can't care anymore. It was mostly min/maxing spaceships and trying them out this last time.

Check my review history I have never complained about a game and rarely waste my energy with negative reviews I just move on. I Bought this full price, do not make the same mistake, so many problems. Heed this warning do not buy.
Its a nice and cool game but have alot of issues. I dont recommend this game. Bad optimization when you walk out of akila city to open world big fps 1 low drop it gives stutters and walk a bit further and the same. The old engine dont work anymore the grid system is old. I call them walking from invisible bubble to bubble and each time you enter a new bubble the fps 1 low drop. And i got a Ryzen 5 5600 x in the recommended says Ryzen 5 3600x is needed and got a rtx 3060 ti and recommended says rtx 2080 fps 1 low drop means cpu is to slow but i know now the bubble you leave is still in your processor and the processor need to load the other bubble cpu rise sky high tried everything but Notting works its the old engine
Starfield feels like a combination of Bethesda and BioWare, as they have leaned pretty heavily into developing your relationships with your companions, in a way that I really enjoyed. The voice-acting is stellar (ha), the gunplay is satisfying, the shipbuilding is engaging, and the customization is plentiful. The few issues I have with it -- no spoilers, but the main questline was one that I did not want to progress -- pale in comparison to the pros. I heartily recommend!
This game was definitely set up to be something bigger than it ended up being, like most present-day Bethesda games. The gameplay is fun, and can still scratch the itch for an open-world space game. The character creator in this game also feels a lot more free than many other Bethesda games...but that's about where the bus stops. Bethesda still continues to fail creating stakes on why anything matters. Exposition is dull, characters are monotone and forgettable. A shame, really, because Bethesda has all the resources at their fingertips to make masterpieces--but can't seem to find a way to inject any soul or passion into their projects. As impressive as their worlds are, you will notice right away some extreme repetition in generation. You'll land on an outpost on one planet, and have the worst deja vu when you find the exact same outpost with the exact same enemy spawns. Quests (if your questline isn't bugged, that is) can feel really boring to sit through for this reason--often boiling down to "go to a location, kill a bunch of people, then go back". The traveling between planets is also extremely boring. Very rarely, there'll be one or two pirate ships to shoot at, but for how much they fleshed out fighting in space, including having entire skill trees devoted to space travel, you'll never see it used much. I love space--I love vast worlds to travel and explore. People were so ready for this to be the DEFINITIVE massive open-world sci-fi game. It's extremely unfortunate that Bethesda phoned it in.
boring game Bethesda is out of touch with modern gaming.
Didn't pay for the game directly thankfully. Even a metric ton of mods can't save it, it's just a hollow shell of a game. Everywhere feels dead, gunplay is cumbersome, story is... Story is ok to be fair but not great. Not worth the price of entry.
Do not buy this GAME! Do not buy this game unless you are willing to spend hours on other worlds and exploring space. If you want to waste your money skip all of the adventures and side quests. This game is not for those who want a quick 30 hour game. From the moment the first notes are played from the amazing soundtrack and the glare of the star beamed its light from a distant planet I knew I was in for an adventure unlike any I have had. No this is not Fallout 5. While it does have some classic elements from the creators like crafting and dungeons this game plays on a totally different vibe. Please do not expect fallout. IF you play this game with the mindset of being an adventurer you will log well over 100 hours before you even see the credits roll the first time and the credits rolling is not the end of this adventure. Play again as the same person but experience a new life. Journey to the STARS!
