Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Don't make the game VR if it doesn't support VR Motion Controllers. Trying to use a keyboard/mouse/controller with a VR headset is really annoying and challenging. Especially if your headset is not setup to be run right in front of your keyboard. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME
Terrible game where every mode is unfun. Not just "not fun" but actively antithetical to the concept of enjoyment. I came back to this hoping that I was mistaken during my time playing this years ago when I still had Origin or whatever it's called now and Epic. At four dollars and some change, it was worth the attempt...he thought to himself. I couldn't get past the first mission this go around of the "Campaign" as I'm committing blatant infractions like flying within feet of TIEs taking off from their ships. It's so the devs can be like "look how cool this all is" except no. One wrong move and I'm killing people or damaging equipment. I'd realistically be lucky if the Empire ever let me fly again, but this is Disney era Star Wars so we gotsta show off the mouse's money. I know it doesn't get better, because for every character I like there is another that is molten hot cringe. The Trandoshan pilot who ticks off the "scoundrel" archetype because we need our umpteen billionth Han Solo rip off or the Imp pilot who unironically says she survives because she's angry all the time. Bruh, Disney, you have actual money to hire actual writers, please do so, that way we get more of that cyborg Imp pilot who survived crashing on three separate occasions in a fighter that is a deathtrap to even fly. Let me hear more of that guy... I never got past the mission way back when that hard stops the story so you can learn to drift. That's real. No no, the fight against galactic tyranny can wait, you go out there and teach the new guy how to Fast and Furious his space fighter... The Dogfight mode is dog doodoo, since nobody thought that it'd be a little imbalanced to pit a fighter whose sole existence depends on speed, numbers and a nearby base, the TIE, against a fighter designed with shields, the X-Wing, in equal numbers. Every match was just the Republicans turning their shields to max and going full "Allons Y" as they rammed the hero's TIEs, which, yes was effective, but only because the makers of this Star Wars game didn't care about balance. Fleet Battles. "Squadrons' signature mode!" to hear that a-hole in the vids, is a far cry from the O.G. Battlefront 2 space combat. Instead of having, you know, options? We get to sit back and watch as the game dictates to us, the players whether or not we should be attacking and will happily spawn in escort ships to teach us a lesson about doing what we want or think is fun in this video game we paid for. Trash. Pure and simple.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 23: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I will not recommend it cause A: It doesn't start up on the first try, and that finally started to get annoying B: I find the overall characters cringe and annoying, especially the Empire ones, the Rebel ones are just the expected cringe with I'm okay with C: Again, the Empire missions so far feel less fun, and the plot around them also feels cringe and petty D: The character's extra dialogue feels weird, not what they are saying, but the way they say it, like they make weird pauses and such and it feels annoying E: Again the reason I wrote this is cause it doesn't work on the first startup and it finally got to me
this game is pretty good, but it gets even better in VR mode.
This game was genuine peak and they killed it for no reason, insane fumble. Almost no one plays it and the launcher ruined. Can't recommend.
Not worth getting unless on a steep sale. online is pretty dead. the campaign is fully playable in VR.

Buyer Beware As of today, June 18th 2026, this game does not boot past the EAC splash screen. EA support is useless and they refuse to address the issue. This review may change if they ever fix it, but I highly doubt they ever will. So right now, do not waste your money on it even on a deep sale. Edit: The only possible fix that seemed to work was quite literally giving exceptions to every exe file in the game's folder directory in my firewall. The main exe itself, the laucher exe, and the EAC exe in the EasyAntiCheat folder within that directory. Review can change at a future date with more gamplay, but still. Rearlly weird "fix" just to get it to run. Might not be the same for everyone though.
This game had a lot of potential to be cool in the long run but there were many missed opportunities. The campaign was a cool story but they missed the ability to unlock and replay the campaign for the most part with any ship for instance. Perhaps a few other objective modes for multiplayer would have been cool but since there's no one playing from what I can tell that point is totally moot. I mean... I really like what this game could have been with a few easy additions. It's worth it when on discount; that's at least true.
EA broke the launcher and is unplayable now. They wonder why we hate them, it is because they first hated us.
