Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Reviews
EA broke the launcher of this game and it won't even run any more (literally won't start). I wish there was a policy for a right of refund for when companies make their games unplayable like this.
I can't start the game! It crashes from the beginning. I din't expect this from an EA studio. Aweful. Ultra 265k processor, RTX5070, 32 GB memory.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 23: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.29/day in the week to Jul 30 → 4.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Game crashes on start, did all I could find on the internet, reinstalled game 5 times, did all the fixes, still does'nt work. Internet says easy anti cheat (EAC) is the culprit. But I can't bypass it to start the game, and I can't return the game. Wasted money, don't buy!
It was a good game, I am sorry for the people that worked on it, but there's nothing EA can't ruin.
Congratulations, EA, you broke the game for VR, and otherwise turned it to a frustrating experience! When this game first came out, I absolutely loved it. It wasn't perfect, no game is, but as someone who played all of the previous X-Wing games, this is what I had been wanting for so long. The graphics are pretty fantastic, the story was great, and I loved the characters. Then when I got the Rift-S, I tried it in VR and LOVED being able to freely look around and have a (somewhat) peripheral vision. For unrelated reasons, I stopped playing after only about 7 hours. Now, years later, I've decided to get back into it, especially to see how beautiful this game looks on a Quest 3 streaming from my PC! .........Except it has become a hot mess of a program. Upon first launching in normal mode (not VR), I had to install the anti-cheat thing. I generally hate how invasive those are, but whatever, I installed it. Game immediately crashed upon launch. Launched again. It made me sign in to EA. I hate games that make me do that, too, especially if I have zero interest in multiplayer. So I signed in. And then the screen was super zoomed in, and unusable, and I couldn't get it to work. Had to look up online where to find the settings files and force it to full-screen mode. But when I launched it again, it made me sign into EA again, despite previously telling it to remember this machine. Anywho, finally got in, went to options, only to find it hadn't kept the settings I'd set in the options, and would not let me change the resolution no matter what I tried. Okay, whatever, I'll play it on the lower resolution it was set to. Did a quick practice game to get the controls down. Fun! Now that I remember what buttons on my joystick did what, I quit out and launched into VR. It won't work on VR. Why? Because EA's sign-in screen popped up! But my Quest 3 controls, the joystick, and the keyboard and mouse wouldn't work on the interface, I was unable to actually sign in! So I literally just cannot play in VR anymore, after all of this frustrating experience. So congrats, EA, you've successfully ensh**ified your game and made it unplayable in VR. I'm so glad EA lost its exclusive rights to making Star Wars games. I avoid this company's games like the plague, more now than ever before.
EA was bought out, what does this mean?
This star wars game was fun, probably the best SW flying game, but now it's over. I can't recommend buying or installing any EA games anymore. Some things are more important than video games. EA is now 91% owned by Saudi Arabia and the corrupt, vile creature named Jared Kushner. You should know that if you are buying an EA game and installing it, you are running software that can be controlled by a hostile foreign government that commits messed up crimes, beyond what I'm probably allowed to talk about here. Here's an article about the EA sellout if you care to look. They took our video games with their oil money. I really don't like bringing politics into gaming, but enough is enough. EA is dead. It was a hostile takeover of an already bad company. They used to make good games. It's sad how bad this timeline is getting. I hope someday these circumstances can change. But it seems like everything just keeps getting worse these days. Not even our video games are safe. This is an attack on our culture. I'm tired of this ruined world. I would like to go touch grass, but with the current heatwave, there is none. It's so over. I just wanted to play some video games. But the corrupt boomers sellouts won't even let me enjoy things in peace.
This game will always make me sad. It was a truly fun game with incredible potential, but for some reason it was never treated or developed in the way the game truly deserved to be. It will always be a colossal let down
spaceship goes whoooooooooooooooooooooooosh and pewpewpewpewpewpewpewpewpew (this game - multiplayer - is dead. But its such a nice spaceship simulator and the story is nice to play too....just short, wait for a 2-4€ sale (its like every month on sale) and buy it for the...like 6-8hours story) Have many hours on this game at the ea app and it was a nice time, but R.I.P to this Multiplayer.
!! DO NOT BUY THIS GAME !! What kind of piece of ♥♥♥♥ devs have a game for sale that doesn't even launch...♥♥♥♥ EA fr absolute wastemen con artists.
I don’t care about online so I can’t speak to that but the campaign is pretty fun and worth it for the $4 sale this game often goes on
