Had a good time being a nobody in the Star Wars universe.
Wanna be red dead in star wars. It's fun, especially for the sale price. Half the negative reviews boil down to "wah female protag" One guy gave a thumbs down at 38 hours because "how lady punch man?" and now has 72 hours. I'm having a good time.
Stay away from this one. Game is incredible unstable, never had a game crash that much to desktop without even any reports to check whats happening. After hours of troubleshooting I give up on it, and since it has not been patched in over a year, despite beeing in that state, the developers did, too. Save your money.
Good story line, vfx and overall experience so far.
This game is amazing. Runs great even on my gaming laptop since I'm active duty away from home. Only thing would make it better is if the main character was Jaylen Vrax and ND-5 instead of this stupid girl. Would of made the story line way better. Especially seeing DN-5's past and how Jaylen found him.
Get it on sale, and the pass (adds a few extra hours of content, not a lot and not worth the full price). Ubi Connect is the biggest problem in my experience. I’ll speak on the base game, as I’m still working on finishing the DLC. The warning I will include is the intro is somewhat long, and you need to finish the 2-3 hours before you can save. It autosaves, but I recommend finishing it to get a hard save. I think if you are used to and don’t mind Ubi-coded games, you’ll enjoy it. Some of the biomes feel a bit empty, not along Starfield levels, but you do have to travel as it feels like a speeder bike sim more. I only experienced a bug for a mission for a voice line trigger and had to reload a save once. Story didn’t feel like a total slog, I was invested. And the one complaint I have, is that the reputation system is good in concept, but impacts minimal to the game depending on how you play – Syndicate territories, contracts, prices – but you can fix it by selling intel easily, and I stopped doing contracts midway though. And Sabacc was fun. Even if you cheat or not, I had so much fun with it trying to games to figure out the best strats. I really zoned out into poker mode and while some tables were easy, there was a challenge to want to win (rewards aside).
Enjoyable with fun sneak mechanics.
Great game, it was a bit buggy at times, but the gameplay was great. The storyline was great, and the characters felt real. A true masterpiece, just as long as the fix the few bugs soon.
The story and Kay Vess are a lot of fun – not the deepest narrative, but engaging enough to keep you hooked from start to finish. The open world is where the game truly delivers. Exploring the different planets feels great, and the atmosphere nails it – visually stunning and it genuinely feels like Star Wars through and through. No complaints at all. Everything comes together really well and the game never loses its momentum. If you're a Star Wars fan, this is an easy recommendation.
