Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.71/day in the week to Aug 14 → 1.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Formerly known as Post Scriptum, Squad 44 is the most authentic WW2 first-person shooter, featuring 20 large-scale battlefields, upwards of 150 realistic WW2 weapons, and over 120 true-to-life vehicles. You must prioritize communication, coordination, and teamwork to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat.
Experience real WW2 campaigns, such as the liberation of the Netherlands and the Battle of Normandy. The war stretched across farms, villages, and cities, and whether you’re jumping out of a plane, arriving by sea, or storming the battlefield in a tank, you’ll need to group up with your squad before taking on the enemy.
Fight as historic WW2 factions like the British 1st Airborne Division, the US 4th Infantry Division, and the French Army to take on the German Wehrmacht, the Waffen SS, and Fallschirmjägers. Other factions include the Australian Army, the Greek Royal Hellenic Army, the New Zealand Military Forces, the British Army, and the Polish Airborne Forces.
In Squad 44, teamwork is paramount to achieving victory. Enroll as a commander and order gun runs or artillery to support your team. Join the frontline as one of the many infantry roles. Run logistics and shape the battlefield with fortifications and emplacements. And keep everyone on the battlefield updated with our in-game voice chat. Talk directly with your entire squad or use the local proximity chat to talk to players nearby and help the flow of battle.
Be the scourge of the battlefield in one of the most feared monsters of WW2: the armored tank. Join a battalion with three other players and crew realistic steel beasts as the driver, gunner, or commander. Every vehicle in Squad 44 has been painstakingly created to represent the real tanks that roamed the battlefields of 1940s Europe. Each one features authentic functionality and armaments, meaning one thing: complete devastation to the enemy’s frontlines.
Experience the authentic reproduction of an incoming Stuka siren or artillery cannons firing from afar. The piercing sound of an incoming heavy round cutting through the air past you. The cracks of bullets and shrapnel. Squad 44 was designed with every little detail created with the utmost authenticity to the real-life weapons, vehicles, and battlefields used at the time. Don’t just play a game; experience the intense WW2 tactical military action of Squad 44.

Game is dead. Offworld Entertainment will destroy anything they get their hands on.
If you like WW2 simulators, Squad 44 is the best one out there. However I can't in good faith recommend you to buy it due to 1 major problem: Player count. You will most likely find 1-2 full servers when trying to play and the rest would be empty. I really like this game but it is kinda hard to play it if there is no one to play with.

It's a shame that this game doesn't get the recognition it deserved. It's got an absolutely massive scope, and I can tell that a lot of passion went into making this game. The frame rate can struggle sometimes, sure... but the experience as a whole is everything I've always wanted out of a tactical WWII FPS. Sure, you'll have to be okay with some frame drops, but it remains faithful to the period, is INCREDIBLY detailed in its systems (armor, penetration, logistics, etc.), and is intensely immersive.
This game is THE world war 2 milsim, and quite possibly the best WW2 game out there. The graphics, the sound, the gameplay, every aspect of it far exceeds the likes of Hell Let Loose or any other competitor. There's no way you're lone wolfing here, you HAVE to communicate and play as a team. The only downside is that it's clearly a dying game, with usually only one, sometimes 2 if you're really lucky, full servers. I will never forget the earlier days of 2019, when it was always busy. Those are my favorite PC gaming memories that I look back on frequently. I truly hope we can return to that former glory one day, and that is the only reason I recommend playing it. Gotta start somewhere to bring the community back.
Squad 44 (ehem.
Periscope took it out the back, left it to rot, and Mercury Arts shot it.
Don't listen to anyone who says the game is dead. This is an amazing ww2 milsim targeted specifically towards those who want to play a milsim rather than a ww2 era shooter game. Game runs fine, plenty of content, gameplay is smooth, overall feels great. You might run into the problem of servers not being avaiable all the time but then again this issue is solved only by demand.
Game is filled with arrogant muppets from the devs all the way to the cheese crusted admins of the 3 active servers. How are you surprised that this game is dying when you do everything in order to shoo away normal players while actively luring actual nazis and larpers in. The game is janky and repetitive and there doesn't seem to be an actual planned future for this game, which could've been really good mind you
