EULA is totally ♥♥♥♥♥♥, won't even let you play offline unless you wave legal rights and allow a ton of personal data harvesting
Stalk an animal for an hour. Friend fast travels to a tent and scares the animal off. Get ambushed by a jaguar and die because your friend made too much noise after fast traveling. 10/10 no notes.
Used to be okay game, but every addition to the game just costs money now. you can spend more money on DLCs than the base game itself and theyre just gonna keep adding buggy DLCs and making you pay for it
After the shutdown of other theHunter* games, such as Primal, angler, and most recently classic, I can't personally recommend investing your time and money into this game. Please! Stop killing games! Give back to the community, fulfill empty promises, and show you care. I'd love to continue supporting the studio and devs but I can't keep throwing away my paychecks based off of empty promises. Do better. Stop killing games.
AVALANCHE HAS DESTORYED THIS ONCE GREAT GAME!! Now they cancelled theHunter Classic to continue lining their cuck pockets. If I could spit on them rn I would.
Classic example of a game tricking players by making it seem like you're buying the complete experience, only to then later sell the rest of the game to you in form of DLC. I bought this before DLC's were introduced. I regret it.
I can't support a publisher that kills their games off. R.I.P theHunter Classic, stuck with you since 2012 and will be there at the end. What a damn shame. PROS - Highly realistic hunting mechanics. - Beautiful open-world environments with excellent atmosphere. - Immersive gameplay that rewards patience and planning. - Relaxing exploration alongside satisfying hunting progression. CONS - Several features and content that feel like they should be part of the base game are sold separately as DLC. - Slow-paced gameplay may not appeal to players looking for constant action. VERDICT theHunter: Call of the Wild™ succeeds as a hunting simulator by delivering an authentic and immersive experience. While its heavy reliance on DLC is disappointing, the core gameplay is strong enough to make it one of the best simulation games for players who appreciate realism and a slower, more thoughtful pace. 8/10
this game SUCKS, theres over 300 dollars worth of DLC for what is essentially a poaching simulator, there is no realism in this game, most of the time you just kill herds of animals for very few items. i would say to just spend 60 dollars on the hunter classic, but theyre SHUTTING that game down, one of the few realistic hunting games, just dont buy games from expansive worlds or avalanche studios, they only care about lining their wallets.
the displayed price isnt the actual price there are a ton of dlcs that are essential all of them add up to 169 dollars and while yes they do go on sale often this is still a garbage Monetization method and im guilty of buying some dlc too and guess what this will never change since as soon as u criticise them there fans will rip you apart even tho no other game does this.
