About
Formerly known as Post Scriptum, Squad 44 is the most authentic WW2 first-person shooter, featuring 20 large-scale battlefields, upwards of 150 realistic WW2 weapons, and over 120 true-to-life vehicles. You must prioritize communication, coordination, and teamwork to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat.
Experience real WW2 campaigns, such as the liberation of the Netherlands and the Battle of Normandy. The war stretched across farms, villages, and cities, and whether you’re jumping out of a plane, arriving by sea, or storming the battlefield in a tank, you’ll need to group up with your squad before taking on the enemy.
Fight as historic WW2 factions like the British 1st Airborne Division, the US 4th Infantry Division, and the French Army to take on the German Wehrmacht, the Waffen SS, and Fallschirmjägers. Other factions include the Australian Army, the Greek Royal Hellenic Army, the New Zealand Military Forces, the British Army, and the Polish Airborne Forces.
In Squad 44, teamwork is paramount to achieving victory. Enroll as a commander and order gun runs or artillery to support your team. Join the frontline as one of the many infantry roles. Run logistics and shape the battlefield with fortifications and emplacements. And keep everyone on the battlefield updated with our in-game voice chat. Talk directly with your entire squad or use the local proximity chat to talk to players nearby and help the flow of battle.
Be the scourge of the battlefield in one of the most feared monsters of WW2: the armored tank. Join a battalion with three other players and crew realistic steel beasts as the driver, gunner, or commander. Every vehicle in Squad 44 has been painstakingly created to represent the real tanks that roamed the battlefields of 1940s Europe. Each one features authentic functionality and armaments, meaning one thing: complete devastation to the enemy’s frontlines.
Experience the authentic reproduction of an incoming Stuka siren or artillery cannons firing from afar. The piercing sound of an incoming heavy round cutting through the air past you. The cracks of bullets and shrapnel. Squad 44 was designed with every little detail created with the utmost authenticity to the real-life weapons, vehicles, and battlefields used at the time. Don’t just play a game; experience the intense WW2 tactical military action of Squad 44.

My PC specs are above recommended but this game just does not run in any playable way anymore
Squad 44 is not about heroics or fast victories. It is about cohesion, fear, and the exhausting reality of fighting as part of something larger than yourself. You enter battle not as a lone force, but as one rifle in a line that only functions if everyone else holds theirs steady. The battlefield is wide, oppressive, and often quiet. Fields stretch under open skies. Forests muffle movement and sound. Towns feel abandoned until a single shot shatters the calm and turns every doorway into a threat. You rarely see the enemy clearly. Most of the time, you feel them—through distant gunfire, suppression, and the sudden loss of someone standing beside you moments ago. Combat is slow and lethal. One well-placed shot ends a life. Poor positioning is punished instantly. Charging forward is almost always a mistake. Progress comes in meters, not miles, earned through covering fire, smoke, and careful movement. Retreat is not failure—it is survival. Communication is everything. Orders matter. Callouts matter. Silence is dangerous. A coordinated squad can hold ground against overwhelming numbers; a disorganized one collapses without warning. Leadership is felt more than seen, expressed through calm direction rather than authority. Respawning does not erase consequences. Every loss drains resources, momentum, and morale. Reinforcements take time. Supply lines stretch thin. Objectives are not captured through individual skill, but through sustained pressure applied correctly, at the right place, for long enough. There are moments of grim stillness. Lying prone in tall grass, waiting for movement. Holding a defensive line while artillery lands nearby. Listening to distant fighting and wondering whether it’s moving closer or fading away. These moments define the experience more than the firefights themselves. Squad 44 does not glorify war. It strips it down to coordination, exhaustion, and uncertainty. Victory feels quiet and temporary. Defeat feels inevitable and impersonal. You are not remembered for what you did individually. You matter only insofar as the squad holds together.
best for realism and gameplay quality
the bad thing that made it unplayable was the servers strict rules
Games gone to crap no active servers an no player base DO NOT BUY
Dead Game, had good time before tho... The Good Times :(
Better than Hell Let Loose in every way.
Game is dead, no matter what some Youtuber said
It's either something that gets you immersed so much you feel like you're in the saving private ryan movie or something so extremely boring to the point you want to quit and NOTHING inbetween i just wish it had more players
