Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Space Engineers 2 is currently a Playable Alpha In Active Development and already lets you begin building, surviving, and colonizing the Almagest System.
You arrive in the distant Almagest System on humanity’s first large-scale colonization mission. Your ship is damaged on entry, your tools are basic, and the planets below are beautiful but unforgiving. From here, everything you build is up to you.
Explore planets, moons, asteroid rings, and dense clusters. Mine resources, construct bases and starships, complete contracts, discover Datapads, trade, expand into new sectors, and push the frontier forward alone now, and later together with friends as co-op and large-scale multiplayer arrive over the course of Early Access.
Space Engineers 2 takes everything we have learned over the past 10 years and reimagines the space engineering experience with more depth, precision, and creative freedom than ever before. Powered by our new VRAGE3 engine, creation and destruction feel better than ever.
Build ships, stations, bases, and machines. Mine asteroids, reshape terrain, carve tunnels, damage structures, and experiment in a fully destructible sandbox where engineering decisions matter.
Whether you are a veteran Space Engineer or new to the series, Space Engineers 2 gives you a growing sandbox where your creativity can shine while the game continues expanding through Early Access.
Explore the next generation of construction with the 25 cm Unified Grid System. No more large-grid vs small-grid separation: blocks fit together seamlessly, making it easier to create detailed and functional builds.
Mounting point visualization, grid lines, improved controls, and more intuitive building tools help you design, adjust, and refine your creations with greater precision.
Space Engineers 2 introduces major building improvements such as Grid Undo, copy/paste, symmetry, blueprints, Projection Building, Backpack Building, Area Welding, refined CTRL controls, and improved rotation and zoom.
These tools are designed to make engineering smoother for both newcomers and experienced players, while preserving the depth and creativity that define Space Engineers.

Take your creations to new speeds with upgraded max velocity: characters up to 310 m/s and grids up to 300 m/s. Magboots and automatic jetpack activation help you stay in control while building, exploring, and moving around large constructions, platforms, ships, and asteroids.
Mechanical systems are also expanding. Rotors and Pistons are already available in the current Alpha, with wheels, hinges, warheads, and additional engineering systems planned for future updates.

We redesigned UI/UX to make building smoother and more intuitive for both newcomers and pros, giving more freedom to bring your intricate ideas to life. VRAGE3 is being optimized throughout Early Access; performance can vary by hardware, world size, and build complexity. As Early Access progresses, you’ll be able to build bigger ships, fly more of them, and enjoy epic destruction in a truly immersive ride.

The current Alpha already includes a real sandbox survival experience. Manage power, oxygen, hydrogen, and health. Mine resources, process materials, manufacture components, build production chains, complete contracts, earn credits, discover Datapads, and begin expanding colonization across the Almagest System.
These systems are playable today, but still growing. Long-term survival progression, deeper colonization, richer economy and contracts, NPCs, campaign content, co-op, multiplayer, and many additional systems will continue arriving during Early Access.
Enjoy the beauty of space, industrial designs, planetary landscapes, and destructive engineering with next-level realism. Space Engineers 2 introduces ray-traced global illumination, realistic shadows, a new skybox, tessellated voxel materials, parallax effects for armor, volumetric clouds, and many other visual improvements that bring depth and realism to every scene.
Bring your ideas to life and share your Blueprints and Worlds with the community through Steam Workshop integration. Explore a growing collection of creations from other players, find inspiration, and discover new engineering challenges.
Space Engineers 2 also supports advanced modding through the VRAGE3 Mod HUB and Mod Editor tools, giving creators more ways to shape the future of the game.

I really want Space Engineers 2, to succeed. After spending a lot of time on the SE1. At this time, however. The idea of buying any more early access games, is not appealing. Too many times this has happened. We spend todays money on a " game" that cannot even be classified as a game. To support developers and programmers making said game...only to then pay more towards game " DLC" Or God forbid watch as the game dies and the devs start another one. Rinse and Repeat !!! Is it just me, or are the days of walking into a shop and buying a lever arch folder size box, with the install disks and even a little book. with a complete game. ready to install and play, Just to much to ask ? There are many good examples of games that started in Early Access and became worthy games. Also quite a few that died off. And even some that just hang in EA for what seems an age. 9years + ( the game I'm thinking of) As I have tried to play SE 2, after this " MEGA UPDATE " D.A.D. It get the juices flowing, only to then run into many issues, It is rather ironic that this game even has the word Engineer in it, as not even a Doctor would release this patient in this condition!! I guess we will wait another 10+ years for this game to be complete. All that said, this game is atm still worth the 20 quid, great graphics on blocks you either shoot or bomb. I will stand by the thumbs down, for now, game has a lot going on atm. Put like 100 hours into Classic survival , both on creative and tried survival. Really need to get the basic working parts up and running, I'm missing : Remote control, Sorters Cameras More armor blocks ( As heavy armor blocks still blow up if you happen to drop a bolt onto them. ) Map Shields Jump Drives Other energy options ( hydro engine ) +++ Best thing so far for me.....Is the ability to use symmetry on builds. !!!

It's really weird, but I keep seeing advertisements for people to buy space engineers 2 and they continuously use content that is not currently available in the Beta. Usually I think this would mean it's in development, but it seems to work pretty good with what they are showing us. But with a couple tires and gun turrets being added in a week at the time of this posting we have the opportunity to purchase some random ass DLC for Space engineers one while they use it, and content currently unavailable to sell this to more people. As it is right now they need to give us what they have, and let us actually play in the Beta instead of milking us for DLC for a game they are going to abandoned as soon as they finally put out what they have so far. I mean if its good enough for streamers why is it not good enough for the people who paid for early access Edit 1: Not changing the review just adding that the "dad" update they have added all the vehicles showcased only function reliably on a platform that is why even there miner has a building under it. P.S. they have had logic controllers and mechanical parts even before the beta, they published videos of it as a teaser. It also seems as though special snowflakes have access to the full beta.
Personally i love where its going but playing survival and smacking the planet at light speed and then trying to load back before that and its just wipes the save like you didnt have it and then saves over it. peak ♥♥♥♥. autosaves dont save their own save file but over your last save and keep saving it so good luck having a good save file that keeps you able to load back to before you mess up. Ill say i recommend it overall but for me atm its just annoying to mess up and have to either start over or go rebuild when im trying to relearn this game. it will get up there though from what i heard from its release till now.
This game is already ahead of what the first game was at this stage of its development. Space Engineers 2 you can already tell has made tons of progress in its base gameplay and engine over Space Engineers 1. Is it feature complete? At this stage obviously not, its an early access title and features that are in the finished game Space Engineers 1 are not yet implemented in this one. The thing is, comparing a finished game to one that's still in early development is not a fair comparison. Rather, you look at what SE1 was at this stage in development and make a comparison to that. We didn't even have planets in SE1 at this stage for example and was largely empty space to play in as all we had were asteroids. We had multiplayer sure, but between that and a rigid 1 threaded cap of physics performance, it's a far cry to what we actually have in SE2. This is why I'm putting this game as a recommended title, because while we don't have multiplayer yet, we do still have far more in this stage of development than what we did in SE1 at its equivalent stage. If you're ok with playing in a singleplayer sandbox for a bit, go for it. If you want to wait for multiplayer or more functional blocks, that's fine too, feel free to wait for those to come. In either case, SE2 by far has improved a lot over SE1's development and has a ton of potential to surpass SE1 as Keen continues to work on the games features
[EN/RU] 9950X3D: Constant Stutters / Постоянные фризы [EN] Incorrect CPU utilization on the 16-core Ryzen 9 9950X3D: the game utilizes 8 cores without 3D V-Cache instead of the cache CCD. This causes constant stutters every 5–7 seconds, making the game completely unplayable. These freezes have been present since the early access launch on January 27, 2025. Throughout all this time, proper multi-threaded CPU optimization has never been implemented.
This game is everything the first Space Engineers is, and more, I struggle to play the first one now with how perfect this version of the game is, Creativity is boundless with the unified grid system, If you like to make things in a survival sandbox, this is your game!
Thats how to make a second version of your game no greed no ♥♥♥♥ no paywall no garbage just a good game
你涨价我肯定得给你差评,其次一堆语种还没中文,是不是几年前被冲到厌恶了?
This Game has so much potential and had already surpassed space engineers 1 in many ways, but there are also some concerns I have that share similar issues to the first game. For Starters the grid system is a million times better building a large ship in the first game was so limited as you could only use special room blocks and the large grid was clunky and annoying, this unified grid system allows you to make unique rooms aboard your massive ship and I like it so much more. The destruction and scorch marks are so fun, all the mechanical parts now break apart, though I wish you could toggle a setting to make scorch marks permanent. I also love how reactors and hydrogen tanks explode. The New rovers are good, though my issue is that in the first game you could skip rovers all together and I feel like this game could add a special planet or dwarf where you need to exclusively travel by rover as that would actually give rovers a special use and incentivize players to make their own rover. But im glad they removed left and right wheels. In terms of story I love what they have done with the voiced story and colony ship, I hope to see the story get more fleshed out and polished as we get further into development. In terms of building the mirroring mode is much better than the first game and building in general is much easier in creative. Im glad they added fast travelling though im curious if theyre ditching the jump drive or adding it in future to actually enable fast travelling. Some things I would love to see are random enounter side quests involving NPS's, like helping a miner get some ore when you dicover his mine, or rescuing people trapped in an underwater base using the submarine/boat transport method they are adding with the water update. As I think only the main story with bland random encouters would make game feel less alive - a problem space engineers 1 has that makes the environent less enjoyable, though I think NPC's will largely eliminate that empty feeling in every random encouter base/ship. On the DLC side it looks like we have many more free decorative blocks and they havent added any DLC blocks yet and honestly they should just ditch it because base space engineers has so many DLC blocks and I think an engineering game should come with all or most blocks unlocked otherwise the price tag is misleading. Anyway overall im exited to see where this game goes and am especially exited for water as I want to make many futuristic submersibles and docks and I know they wont add this but Rail Transport would also be fun, even though you can make a rover into a train I think rails and train wheels would add more interesting elements to bases and transport networks.
One of the most visually stunning games I have ever seen. Everything looks amazing. As someone who has almost a thousand hours of space engineers I can say I was looking forward to this game and it was definitely worth the wait. The quality is amazing from sounds like metal creaking to thrusters burning. The soundtrack is really good and the best part is flying ships. The piloting system is so good. The first space engineers had a decent flight system but this one really does an amazing job. You actually feel the air resistance this time and i will say the crash physics are something worth trying. At the time I am writing this, water has not yet been fully implemented into the game however you can access it through the debug menu and it looks crisp. Reflections are good on top and the surface of the water just looks amazing under and above the water. Honestly one of the best sandbox games I have ever played and I can totally see myself playing this for thousands of hours. This is a game I would pay $70 for and passing this game up would be a missed opportunity. There is a lot of reviews talking about performance issues and bugs but honestly I have not encountered any. Keen, even though I said I would pay $70 for the game please don't make the DLCs that much as I don't have infinite money.
