About
The original Kerbal Space Program is one of the most beloved games of all time and, years after its release, it's bigger than ever before. Its sequel, Kerbal Space Program 2, has been fully redesigned from the ground up to meet the demands of modern and next-generation space exploration, all while maintaining the monumental foundations of the first game. Build a space program, construct powerful spacecraft, and navigate expansive celestial bodies as you explore cosmic mysteries.
Key Features to come during Early Access
As the game updates progress, players will gain access to a whole new set of next generation tools and technology including new engines, parts, fuel, and much more. This new tech will not just create novel puzzles for players to solve, but will also enable new feats of space exploration within and beyond the original Kerbolar System.
Brand new to Kerbal Space Program 2 are colonies. Colonies not only pose their own physics challenges, but also require resource gathering to build structures, space stations, habitations, and unique fuel types. Eventually, these colonies become advanced enough for vehicle construction, propelling deep space exploration and beyond.
Next-gen tech, colonies, and systematic resource gathering all lead to a whole new level of exploration: interstellar travel. In Kerbal Space Program 2, interstellar technologies pave the way to a host of new star systems and celestial bodies, each comprising novel challenges and harboring secret treasures. Among them: Charr, a heat-blasted world of iron; Ovin, a ringed super-Earth with relentless gravity; Rask and Rusk, a binary pair locked in a dance of death; and many more to reward exploration.
The technological developments made to the foundations of Kerbal Space Program 2 will build on the beloved modding capabilities of the original game, as well as deliver on the long-requested addition of multiplayer. Soon players will be able to share the challenges of deep space exploration. More details on these features will be revealed at a later time.

Reviews
They should not be allowed to sell this game and claim it is early access, 2k has closed the studio, fired the developers, and the game is not under development. Claiming this is still in early access is completely fraudulent.
game is abandoned, do not buy. steam should delist and provide refunds.
1. Publish a broken, unoptimized game 2. Promise that the features like multiplayer and interstellar travel will be implemented somewhere in the future(even though they were supposed to be available on release) 3. Shutdown the studio making the game after one year. 4. Still charge full price for an EARLY ACCESS game that has no planned updates. It's been almost two years since Intercept Games was shutdown and KSP2 was subsequently abandoned. This game should be delisted from Steam.
DO NOT BUY! This game is nothing more than a bug-filled, poorly performing piece of abandonware. As of June 2026 we are coming up on 2 years now since the last peep of any information. Private division has been sold to an unknown buyer, Intercept Games doesn't exist anymore, and Take Two are brushing this under the rug. Steam needs to delist this game so more people don't buy into this abandoned mess. KSP deserved so much better than this.
-plays it -sees its unfinished -forgets about it for a few months -remembers it thinking it got a ton of updates and isnt so "negatively" user reviewed -finds out the game is abandoned and just wasted 40-60 bucks on this game -now i sad and want ksp 1
Game is abandoned and unfinished, if you want a Kerbal experience please buy the first game and install mods. Steam should issue refunds and the store page should be taken down.
This game is abandonware DO NOT BUY YOU WILL RECEIVE A UNFINISHED GAME THAT HAS CEASED DEVELOPMENT
THIS IS ABADONWARE, I only bought and play this because of the amazing people who have made KSP2 Redux. The modding community once again shows how it has more passion than these devs. Let me be clear KSP2 is a rug pull and bordeerline illegal. KSP2 Redux is the only thing keeping it alive now, I hope more mods can fix this pile of s***. Gaming companies should not be allowed to release half baked games and expect modders to keep it alive. I am NOT reccomending KSP2 because of the devs....I WILL reccomed it due to KSP2 Redux. Also f#$% wobbly rockets
It is 2026 and Valve continues to allow this game to remain purchasable... I am only writing this review because a friend bought it and can't refund it now... Valve needs to delist this abandoned POS software....
Yo what if we all actually came together and bought back this game from the dumbass investment company that ruined it? I started an Instagram account called Buying_Back_Kerbal that you guys should follow. If enough people get behind this, maybe we could actually make something happen and get back the game we all love.
