Space Bit Attack

Space Bit Attack gives me a good ol' "blast from the past" feeling; getting to experience a classic game style in VR is a load of fun! I have thoroughly enjoyed the increasingly difficult waves (even though I struggle to get past wave 7 XD). Without already knowing a clear-cut strategy I find myself trying various tactics to stop the oncoming horde of alien scum. Mark my words, I will find their weakness!!! Update: Still can't get passed wave 7, I've come close though! You must be precise with your shots. I've been using the Vive controllers rather than a gamepad. This way aiming is performed by their movement and gives you independent control of your weapons, but I have found it slightly easier to just use one controller to aim and fire both weapons. Still having lots of fun, I'm just weary of wave 8 if 7 is this tough!

Great go to game for a quick blast in VR. Graphics good. It's like space invaders but looking from the bottom in 3D. Works fine on DK2. Very little money for an enjoyable game. What's not to like!

Positives It's cheap It has a great theme and stays true to it's source material No VR sickness, the movement and camera, make this a very comfortable game Negatives It's wayyy too slow Much like the original Space Invaders or Galaga, the beginning stages are boring for wayyy too long.

Unfortunately, this game is just too boring and repetitive to keep playing. It's an awkward VR version of Space Invaders. I really liked the idea of this game, but the execution was poor. I can see why it was priced at 99 cents.

I got it for my birthday from a friend and it's a fun short VR game. I played it with my Oculus Rift DK2 and an XB360 Controller and it worked great. It's not much, but it's awesome for what it is. I think if i ever have the urge for some good old space invaders, i will propably step into my rift again.

Brought me back to the good ol' days of my Atari 2600! Fun to get a new twist on a classic style of gaming with updated technology! Worth a purchase for the taste of nostalgia, and good times to boot! I finally get a chance to play a game similar to the "Raiders of the Lost Arcade" episode of Futurama! :) Nice!

While a fun idea, with great graphics and an excellent opening scene, the poor Vive controls make this a game I can't recommend: Pros: Graphics look great. Opening scene is clever and fun. Sounds are good. Basically a 3D Space Invadors remake. Cons: Look-to-move makes moving uncomfortable. One gun each hand makes aiming something you have to think about. Guns fire very slowly. You spend the game thinking about how to move and shoot, not actually doing it. Devs: I'd recommend changing one vive-wand a piloting joystick, one for guns, and leave the head to freely look around.

Nice little Space Invaders like VR game. Takes a little while to get used to the control scheme but once you got it down it can be fun if you like these kinds of games. It is well worth $.99 and this is not really my kind of game. ;-) . I say buy it on sale.

LOVE the idea of this game! sadly... its unplayable right now :( head movement is supposed to control the spaceship, but its very glitchy and laggy... as a result avoiding enemy fire is near impossible and more of a game of chance than skill
