Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Aug 10 → 1.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 29: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

You will be disappointed if you go into this expecting soul hackers. BUT if you keep an open mind this game is a nice midpoint between persona and SMT. i think its good for a persona fan looking to get deeper into the smt franchise but is maybe apprehensive about the difficulty of the mainline games. saizo best boy <3
Upon finishing: Summary: Soul Hackers 2 is a hidden gem of a game. The story is quite beautifully written, with a cast of characters whom you get to know and care about. Combat is simple and fun, music is overall very good, voice acting is super high quality, and art is stylistically one of Atlus' best. The world-building is quite well done; you feel drawn into the narrative and are invested in the outcomes of the people and the world they inhabit. The "Soul Matrix" dungeon in particular holds it back. but the game's positives than the negatives. -0.75 for dungeon design, -0.5 total for miscellaneous nitpicks. Final Score: 8.75/10 (Details): The game does very well to explores themes of conflict and sacrifice in characters with different ideas of what would constitute a better future, a staple feature of most SMT games, and Soul Hackers 2 hits it out of the park. Of course, there are many characters you meet who are just trying to get by in this both hauntingly beautiful and hideous dystopic world. I'd say that the way you get to know characters more in-depth through bonding scenes and watching memories together is quite Persona-esque in a way. Might be a hot take, but I generally don't care for a lot of the characters in most Megaten mainline games, with a few exceptions. Soul Hackers 2 is fortunately in the Persona/DeSu (moreso 2, but the characters in 1 were alright, too) group of character likeability. Ringo is widely praised as one of Atlus' best protags for a good reason, but characters like Figue, Saizo (plus Ash) and Milady are very compelling, too. The superb voice actors really help in this regard. The combat is both simple and elegant. There's some strategic depth but there's nothing that's too annoyingly RNG or convoluted. Dungeon design is the worst part of the game by far, but to advocate for SH2, the dungeons in say, SMT4, weren't much better (cocoon-like demon domains, etc). Each overworld location has its own unique tune the suits it. The main boss battle theme is jamming, however, there isn't enough variety when it comes to dungeon and battle themes. Visually, SH2 is rather stunning. Designs tell you a bit about the characters, but they also have some hidden depth (light spoilers); Ringo is bright and lively but develops to be more thoughtful, Milady is a tough beauty with some thorns, but can be a softy on the inside,Saizo seems hedonistic but is actually rather selfless, and Arrow is umm...kinda bland, but does get his plot relevance (haha...). They also did justice to the setting of a futuristic dystopia with its own set of charms. Overall, please give this game a try and ignore the haters telling you it sucks. I'd also be the first to tell you to wait for a sale [but I buy pretty much all my games on sale ;) games are getting so expensive at full price...] Previous review a few hours in: The game has been pretty solid so far. Never played the first Soul Hackers so I don't have that reference point, but it's an interesting little world that they built here. I like the MC and the supporting cast is okay, too. The plot is somewhat intriguing and I want to find out what happens next. Dungeons are a bit bland (which is a common criticism I heard before playing), but that's the case with most SMT games, imo, plus Tartarus in Persona 3. I like the voice acting (listening to JP subs in my case), and the artstyle is easy on the eyes. 8/10 is the score I'd give Soul Hackers 2 at the moment.
This game was kinda bootysweat. I'm all for Atlus returning to PS2 era of reusing assets and stuff to make low to mid costing games, but they gotta at least be written well. This was just boring and the ending was incredibly subpar.

It’s a recommend for me. On sale, yes it’s good if you like Atlus games. Story and characters are good. Art is great. Music was exceptional which is not uncommon from Atlus. They cut corners on the world and dungeons. NPCs will say the same thing throughout the game unless a new quest is available at a certain time in the game. The world involves little hubs you can fast travel to on a map and they’re small. Design is really cool though, just wish you could dive deeper into it. Dungeons are kinda like Tartarus from Persona 3. Just hallways and battling every ten seconds until next checkpoint. The story again, is really good. I like that it’s focused on a few main characters and not adding extra just to muddy the execution. The villain is better than I expected. The twist feels earned. The writing is mostly excellent. There’s so much to like here. If this game was given the budget of the mainline Persona games, we could have had a game as good as the Persona 3 Remake or Persona 5. But half the game or more is the dungeons which I can’t let go how tedious and repetitive they get. Especially the Soul Matrix portions to unlock backstory. Last note, I felt the execution of backstory through little views into pivotal memories of your cast was done well. It was an artistic and design choice that really worked for this story, whereas it would have been risky or failed completely in another game. It just fit the tone and left you with the desire to keep going to find out more so they did well there.
