Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 6.14/day in the week to Aug 14 → 6.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Viva el autismo. Me gustó 9/10
this game is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ tedious that it makes me want to rip my heart off jokes aside, if steam had a mixed review choice, this game would be that the combat is fun and the super sonic boss fights are 10/10, but the gameplay loop is just go around the map getting these stupid token thingies that completely destroy the pacing its not that bad in the first island, since you're still getting used to the controls and exploration, but after that, its just tedious oh and the cyber space levels SUCK i really hope sega makes a sequel that fixes most of my issues

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 23: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

I may not have much played time on Steam but I 100% this game on PS4 and I fully recommend it. We're FINALLY BACK LADIES AND GENTLEMEN!!
Truly an amazing Sonic game! Can't wait to see how they build on this!
Could not even finish the game (on the 4th world mobs that are necessary to climb a tower do not respawn, even with reloads, restarts, death resets, etc...). Otherwise feels half-baked and badly tested in many aspects. Forced camera is terrible in some places, difficulty widely imballanced, some design decisions (rings are not reset after boss battle loss? You have to save before the battle, quit the game and load from save instead). Could have been a nice experience, even if half as short, but the lack of testing made it into my #1 most infuriating game.
<TL;DR> This game is phenomenal. It's a little rough around the edges, but if you can overlook some minor imperfections, this game will give you a fantastic experience. And the boss battles KICK ASS!!! It's not a classic Sonic game by any means, but it's the future. And if this is the standard of game we can expect from here onwards, this franchise is gonna reach highs higher than ever before. <GAMEPLAY> The open world exploration is genuinely fun. The islands are big, but because Sonic is one fast hedgehog, it's not a chore to get from point A to point B. The overhauled combat makes the game so much more dynamic. For most enemies, it's not just a case of jump, homing attack, and done. There's an actual strategy you need to employ for each and every enemy. The game also has this nice mix of relaxing exploration with high octane action, and some pretty nifty platforming too. The cyber space levels are fun; nowhere near as bad as some people make it out to be. Although some of the automation is a little annoying, it is still very skill based, and it's not like Sonic Forces at all. The fishing mini game is also nice, pretty relaxing for a laid back grinding sesh. <BOSS BATTLES> This! Oh my Lord, this! The boss battles in this game are the best I've played in any game EVER. When you turn into Super Sonic, you feel like a god. I won't give too many spoilers, but you think you're the small one compared to the titans until you actually go up against them. They're the ones that are going to feel small. <GRAPHICS & SOUNDTRACK> Normally, I'm not one to judge a game by its graphics, but the way this game looks is gorgeous. The platforming sections can clash a little with the landscape, but they're not so jarring that you can't appreciate the beauty of it. Just beware if you have a potato pc, I don't think you'll have much luck with this game. And you know how this franchise is famous for having amazing soundtracks, even on the not-so-good games? If you're a fan of rock and metal, this is THE BEST soundtrack in the franchise. I don't say that lightly. It kicks some serious ass. <STORY> Again, I won't give too many spoilers. If you're expecting the silliness of the Adventure games, Boom, or the 2D games, forget it. There are plenty of jokes sprinkled around the script, but the overall tone of the story is serious. However, in this game, it's done PERFECTLY. The story knows what it wants to be, and it gets an A* from me. It's not an identity crisis like Forces (for someone who's never played that game, I sure do clown on it a lot). The story builds up to what is a genuinely intense finale. The character development on all the characters (yes, all of them) is very nice to see. Heck, even Sonic becomes mature! Never thought I'd see the day. <100% COMPLETION> Collecting all the memory tokens from all the islands can be a little bit of a chore, but that is the only thing that gets annoying. Everything else is actually quite fun to grind through, especially Battle Rush and Cyber Space Challenge. Just make sure that, before you collect the 6th Chaos Emerald on the last island (you'll know when you're on the last island), you switch the game difficulty to Hard, and that you get all S Ranks in the challenges you unlock after you complete the main story mode (New Game+ not necessary). You can thank me later ;) <COMMON CRITICISMS> The main criticism I hear about the game is that it get's repetitive to unlock everything throughout the islands. Other than the memory tokens, I don't agree with this. There's far too many tokens, but everything else isn't boring. Yes, you kinda have it figured out by the end of the second island, but it's nice that you don't have to fry every brain cell you have just to get that 100%. Another criticism I hear is that the automation in Cyber Space apparently ruins the game, especially in the rail grinding. Don't get me wrong, I hear it, and I'd love to have control over rail grinding like in SA2. But all the automation makes sense. It's not even that intrusive. It doesn't make it as easy as "just press forward and jump every now and then", you have plenty of control. Overall, I give this game a 9/10. It has some parts that are annoying, but the bits that are enjoyable outweigh the bad parts by A LOT! Edit: <FINAL HORIZON> When you walk through that ring gate on Ouranos Island after completing the original half of the game, you'll be put into an alternate ending for the game. In this alternate ending, you do the final island again, but in a completely new way. The terrain and scenery is the same, but that's the only thing that doesn't change. You can now play as Tails, Amy, and Knuckles, and the difficulty spike is CRAZY. But the platforming is actually a lot more fun, the story makes a lot more sense, and the sense of finality hits harder in every aspect. The only thing that gets worse is the Cyber Space levels. They actually remind me of Sonic Forces with the automation crap, and it's pure misery to do all of these levels. But the bright side is that you don't need to do these levels to complete the game, so if you hate it as much as I do, you can just skip it. Normal island exploration and loot collection will give you all the items you need anyway. Leave this part of the game for it to be the last thing you do in this playthrough, and this will be a game you NEVER forget. I officially change my rating of 9/10 I previously did and upgrade it to a 10/10. I don't often give 10/10 on anything, even if I really like it, so you better believe this is good.
Как фанат игр соника 2000-2010 годов - это самое постное и неинтересное, что я пробовал, sonic heroes ощущается куда динамичнее этой игры
open world is fun to explore even though it gets a bit repetitive after the second island, lore is irrelevant to the already existing sonic lore but its good on its own. one thing you can't diss about the game is the soundtrack absolutely amazing, overall i enjoyed it, totally worth it
I hate how Sega treats their own characters. I hate how Sega treats their own fans. I hate how Sega treats their own IPs. I hate how Sega doesn't do what's right.
