Sonic Adventure DX

Cool game that I've enjoyed more than I thought I would be ! All the stories were pleasant to follow, sure the quality was inconsistent at time depending of the character but overall it didn't bother me too much. Most of the levels felt really great especially with Sonic. I was really scared about Big's part but honestly once you know how the gameplay loop work his whole story can be completed in 20 minutes, sure this should have been better if it was introduced as a side mini game but I didn't dislike that part of the game compared to Gamma. Now for the negative part of the game, well to start this Director Cut version is so poorly optimized my game crashed like 3-4 games due to Alt Tabing between windows... I also lost so many lives by clipping throught the floor for no reasons. Someone told me to install the better SADX mod and oh god it completely changed my view of the game : no more random crashes, game is looking ten times better etc. Overall I would say that Gamma's gameplay was my least favorite, but it has to be expected since I also dislike this kind of gameplay from Adventure 2... Knuckles's levels were also too easy with Tikal's advices compared to the hints system from Adventure 2. I also disliked both of the hubs, I would have prefered to just chain the levels back to back Overall a good surprise, but I highly recommend to install the better SADX mod and then tweak it as you wish. This version of the game is so buggy.

Честно не понимаю как вы умудрились сделать такой ужасный порт на пк версию в стим, не спорю игра хорошая но техническое состояние ужасное нету полноэкранного режима тупо игра запускается в тот же день когда выходила и багов в игре достаточно и исправлять Sega не будет, так что советую лучше взять в руки моды для этой игры и наслаждаться ее прохождением но без модов вы будете страдать

ВСЁ ЭТО ЯСНО)))) ОНИ ПРОСТО ИЩУТ ИГРУ ИЗ ЗА КОТОРОЙ ОНИ БУДУТ СЧИТАТЬ СЕБЯ " НЕ ТАКИМ КАК ВСЕ " , НО ОНИ УЖЕ СТАДО))) А Я, Я ПРОСТО НАСТОЯЩИЙ ГЕЙМЕР ВОЛК ОДИНОЧКА И ИГРАЮ В НАСТОЯЩИЕ АНДЕРГРАУНДНЫЕ ИГРЫ

Use mods, essa versão de PC é pior que a de Dreamcast e sem mods pode ser um pouco ruim de experenciar, mas no geral é um excelente jogo.

I've heard this would be a good place for me to start playing Sonic games in this huge franchise. After the movies turned me into a Sonic fan I decided to give it a go and, despite its age, it was a mostly fun experience. Sure there's some jank present, but same goes for Super Mario 64 and LoZ: Ocarina of Time. I know a lot of mid Sonic games exist but that doesn't mean we shouldn't judge things fairly. I would gladly recommend Sonic Adventure to anyone who's interested in getting more invested into this franchise, and I can't wait to play the sequel!

I can't recommend the steam port as is, but with a few mods, it's the best. There is a simple tool called sadx mod installer. stay away from the now deprecated bettersadx.
