Skate Rift

Very fun skater-esque indie with a lil bitti jank as well.

I do have mixed feelings about the game so far.. When I first started playing I had absolutely no idea where I was supposed to go or where I could access other maps. The navigation of menus & such as it stands is bad, which could turn off new players (however could easily be improved) I stuck with it a bit because I love games that have huge airs/jumps & ultimately it paid off because it's ended up being my favourite skateboarding game I've played so far on steam. Skater XL & Session are obviously graphically superior and more realistic but for me personally the controls are a tad too difficult to have a relaxing game, Skate Rift hits a different note for me; it has a dreamy, mellow vibe with relatively easy controls & lots of room for error on tricks. There is certainly a learning curve here but it's far more forgiving. However still needs more maps, modes etc. 6/10
