About
Multiplayer Mode
Ride solo or with friends. The faster you ride, the higher your score multiplier, with the biggest rewards coming from high speeds and close, skillful lane splitting. Crashes or driving too slowly will reset your current points to zero with your highest points being saved to the global leaderboards.
Multiple Weather and Traffic Settings
Conquer dry roads with ease by selecting bikes with high top speed and agile handling, and maximize traction and stopping power during wet-weather rides.
Test riding reflexes during Rush Hour mode, and become one with the road in Zen mode, where you have the road all to yourself.
Become King of the Road
As breakneck speeds turn the world into a blur, enter a flow state as LANESPLIT’s drum & bass soundtrack increases in volume as you accelerate (and comes to a crashing halt when colliding with traffic).

My Day 1 VR review of LANESPLIT: This is coming from Day 1 version of the VR mode, I'm sure changes will come. VR Gameplay video review here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xL7bfqIiVG0 The VR implementation currently is a VR view with no motion controls. You can use a gamepad or KBM to control it. To start the game in VR, launch it in Steam and press Play in VR. The main menu will be in flatscreen, you need to start a game first and then it will enter VR automatically. Pros: - Works in VR! - Feels the same as the flatscreen version, has the same vibe nothing different - Very chill to just ride around in VR - Has controls to reposition your VR camera Cons: - No motion controls, no leaning controls, hopefully this is added - VR controllers are broken for me on Pimax, only the accelerate button works - Aliasing looks pretty bad in VR, tried all the aliasing settings - Menu is in flatscreen, need to enter game before VR starts. Should have a mode in VR menu. Also when clicking on pause in game, it returns you to Flatscreen As of now I think it still needs more cooking in the oven, but still playable. Thanks for adding VR mode hope there's more updates!

Made a simple game into something that's a grind and a chore. Sound on starting motorcycle recycles and sound's repeated. I had over 28 hours in the original demo. Loved the game. The bike in it sounded and felt great. The following updated demo I couldn't play. Bike felt so arcade like and goofy as hell turning left and right, uninstalled after less the five minutes, couldn't adjust the traffic so was just you passing a car every 20 seconds or so. Figured I would wait for the game on sale when it released. Grabbed it and was excited. The starting bike, sounds so bad and repeats the engine sound, I truly can't even take the time to unlock the first bike. Feels like it has no weight when going into turns. Refunded. Should just let people ride what they want, make custom rider skins and bike skins for unlocks.
SteamVR update definitely needed more time imo. I thought it wasn't working because I didn't leave Virtual Desktop's theatre mode (same with Air Link/Steam Link) once I started playing (using a Quest 3), it stays in that mode even as you get to the main menu like that. It only puts you fully in VR once you choose a level and at that point, the Quest controllers only recognise accelerating, not turning or reversing. I would very much love to have the option to use motion controllers - not for motion steering, though that would be a cool option but not essential for me. I'd be happy just with the face buttons and analog sticks for controls like Flatout VR uses. I had to use my Xbox controller, which does control correctly but doesn't feel right using that here. Also. The SteamVR visuals were really blurry until I turned on V-Sync, which I don't understand why that fixed them as it wasn't screen tearing. I was running everything in ultra visual settings and when it does work, Lanesplit looks great in action. But this needs considerably more polish before I can recommend (I will happily update this review if things change), and I'm also not happy that pausing keeps putting me back to Virtual Desktop's theatre mode. Even if you use 2D menus in some sections, I just want to stay in this world.
I thought this was going to be amazing when I heard there was VR support... Unfortunately, I had a terrible time with it. I played in VR using Meta Quest 3 Via Link Cable, the VR controls didn't work in game other than holding the trigger to accelerate, so I couldn't steer or brake. The graphics in VR are extremely poor, I tried all of the settings, turning various options on and off, and maxing the resolution and upscaling but no matter what I tried everything looked blurry and pixelated. The menu is in flatscreen until you load into a map then it clumsily loads into VR, if you are not looking forward when it loads you start on the bike at an awkward angle. When I crashed the bike a couple of times, the screen goes black for a few seconds and then I'd be back on the bike stuck in a wall or at an awkward angle where I had crashed, no longer able to use the bike. I really tried to find some positives in this one, and I'm sure there are for flatscreen players, but I only play games in VR and this didn't meet my expectations for VR quality at all.
Experienced on the Meta Quest 3
You can view my VR gameplay here: https://youtu.be/ewc3Xau96gU I don't think this is a good VR port. I think the game is fine for what it's going for. I like more speed and more danger in my motorcycle riding experiences personally. I don't know if the VR version is more tame than the flatscreen version, but it starts out that way in VR. It's just too slow and zen. Maybe it picks up later on. I was riding in between vehicles but wasn't really feeling any rush. I hope the game picks up at some later point. As far as the VR port, motion controllers are still not supported although the dev says they are working on that. So you'll have to play with a gamepad. Also, the game doesn't start in VR. You'll have to be able to see the desktop view to start the experience. Lastly, you'll have to fiddle around with the settings in order to get the game to look half-way decent in VR. It looks muddy / blurry in VR by default. I had to turn TSR off and increase render resolution which made the game run poorly. I think others might enjoy this experience more than me. You may find it more zen / relaxing, but I have a need for speed. I enjoyed Moto Rush Reborn a heck of a lot more (with Astien's VR mod). Rate 6.5/10.
I bought this game! Tested the game in VR, and while the game is working with the Index, you need a gamepad to drive. Image quality is very bad, but improved significantly forcing Index res 300%. Sadly this decreased performance significantly - and even if motion smoothing was helpful, this game feels very low quality. You'll need an RTX 5090 for this low-end game, and while that may sound very funny, I'm really not joking. In its current state the game is not even worth 10 bucks.
I'll probably still play this during a work break or to kill time before a doc appointment or something. It's simple and pretty and has great music. But the game feels awful at every corner. Some items that contribute to this:

Audio is all over the place and sometimes just doesn't listen to the settings at all
Pausing lacks responsiveness, and you can open the settings in the intro videos which will cause UI issues once the game loads in properly
UX is a disaster on the menus too, every key push feels sticky
I genuinely have to push Apply in the menu 3-4 times before it actually applies.
I also have to "input any button" 2-3 times before the round starts
The reset button doesn't work in the ragdoll sequence (and no, I don't wanna just turn off the rag doll either)
Customization is dire; that's if you even can legally classify your options here as customizing. More just choose your color(s) and rider now off you go. This feels like a Newgrounds game thrown onto Steam for money. Now, don't get me wrong, I love the idea of Newgrounds games getting some money for their work. But even in Newgrounds this would have more customization, more unlocks, more maps, and probably a story to grind through. This feels like a tech demo. If they put in some interesting story to crawl through, a Hotline Miami-esque macabre and abstract jaunt that uses the visceral riding as a backdrop, this could be worth $30-40 and be my favorite game of the year. As it stands, it's MAYBE worth $5 and that's if you have friends to play with sometimes. Don't get me wrong, not every game needs a story, but this game doesn't offer enough to be without one. The sandbox mode should be something to do for fun on the side, not the entire game.
perrformance is terrible in vr even at the lowest settings with upscaling enabled and motion controlls dont work
Nasıl para kasılır belli değil, hissiyat gerçekten zayıf, mekanikler başarısız. Erken erişim ibaresi artık yok... Yalan yok güven vermiyor. İade düşünüyorum. Daha başarılı bir yapım olabilirdi.... 4/10
gets way too boring fast
