Cosmos Bit is an old school metroidvania that will take you in an extraterrestrial world painted with the legendary Amstrad CPC's colour palette, reworked for modern devices. The game is enjoyable for both veterans and newbies of this genre!

A phenomenal retro game. It is more a classic platformer with guns than a Metroidvania. If you are more interested in the latter, take that into consideration. It is true that there are upgrades and a map but it is really simple and straightforward. For any retro fans this is fantastic gem, enjoy it!
Game is rather short, not bad I would say, but there're some points I think it could have been better, jumping and movement felt a little clunky, and I did suffer a weird bug in the beginning, where I died before saving my process in the first spawnpoint, it resulted in the game to continue running at the fixed screen even after I died, had to close the game to solve the issue. So positives I would say are that the music is alright, and that it is pretty easy to get around the map, you don't suffer the issue of getting lost and not knowing where to go next, everything is nicely set up.
Very small game, cleared it in just over 90 minutes. I would have prefered the upgrades to be hidden somewhere instead of having the shop to basically buy all upgrades as early as you want if you are willing to grind the money, but its fine I guess. Its pretty basic, but thats what you sign up for, when you buy this game! I like these simple games and it wasn't bad. Just doesn't feel rewarding to defeat any normal enemies, if they never ever drop a single thing. They should be the ones dropping the money and the rocks you destroy could maybe drop health very very rarely... the way it is, just makes you want run past everything if possible to save time. Thats pretty much the only gripe I have.
Excellent Metroidvania which literally is a Metroid 1 like game. Even the main char is a girl like Samus and the whole theme is like Metroid on alien worlds. I also prefer this over Metroid as that was tough to control, hard af and iirc you could not save. This game is a gem with maze levels, upgrades for your arsenal and more stuff to unlock. Definitely a recommended treasure for retro hunters and/or metroidvania fans as welll. Cons: shooting next to a wall is a pain the * and the game is very short but really fun!! Get it now!! Do it!!
コンパクトなメトロイドっぽいゲームです ちょっとした暇つぶしにはいいですね
Cortito pero muy entretenido como un clásico de toda la vida. Muy recomendable, especialmente cuando está de oferta, no lo dejes escapar.
Definitely nailed the look, but also the mechanics, of a truly retro metroid-like video game from the 8-bit (or less) era. It even has certain parallels to 'Captain Comic' I'm sure aren't unintentional. My least favourite part of Super Mario were the castle stages, so if you haven't played yet took at that first trailer video and guess what section I'm currently frustratingly stuck on. Still, that's entirely on me, so not at all worth a vindictive down-vote.
Pra quem gosta de um metroidvania retro vale muito a pena.
great game worth the play enjoy
Short and fun metroidvania. Would have appreciated having more secrets, like hidden walls and such, but overall, a fun little metroid inspired time.
