A short and sweet incremental/tower defense game that is very satisfying to "solve". While I would recommend it in its current form, a quick suggestion: Progression sometimes feels a bit wonky. I enjoyed levels that were more challenging, but paid a bit more than the previous level. That way I could play with set ups to see what worked, but still feel like I was progressing. There are levels here where they have the same amount of income, but you're going to fail, so it makes sense to go back and just do the level your succeeded at over and over again. Maybe that was intentional, but I feel it was a little less satisfying than it could be. Also more! If the game has enough attention to warrant it, I'd love to see some more levels and upgrades. Other than that, got my moneys worth and am ready to move on for the time being.

Overall, I recommend this game. It took me about 9 hours to complete, and at $4.99, it is well worth the price. I love tower defense games, and this is one of the better ones I have played in a long time. There are enough towers to keep things interesting, but not so many that it becomes overwhelming. There is a massive tech tree and interesting active abilities. The only thing I would want is more levels. I would love to see DLC with more content.
the orcs have a me problem

This is a really fun and surprisingly relaxing game. I’ve already spent a couple of nights playing it. Trying out different strategies, figuring out where to place your towers and managing the crowd gives you plenty to think about. At the same time, you still have to use your abilities and finish off any orcs that get through with rockets, so there’s some actual skill involved during the levels. It’s not just about placing towers and watching everything happen. It’s a pretty unusual tower defense game. It doesn’t expect you to find one perfect solution for every level. You’re supposed to fail a lot, learn the orcs’ routes, find the best angles for your towers and use everything you have. The gameplay loop is simple, but somehow it’s really addictive. There’s more content than there was in the demo, but it still feels a bit short. I hope the game keeps getting updates with new maps, weekly challenges, an endless mode and, most importantly, a map editor with Steam Workshop support. I’d definitely sink a ton of time into the editor, making maps and messing around with all the settings. That would make it way more replayable, and I’m sure the game could keep a small but loyal community for a long time. More orc types would also be nice, since the current roster is pretty limited. I’d also like some way to upgrade towers during a battle. Maybe tower upgrades could even be another consumable ability. Speaking of abilities, they don’t feel very balanced right now. The rockets are fine. They do exactly what they’re supposed to do and help you finish off orcs that get past your defenses. The air strike and the nuke, though, often make things worse. They throw orcs all over the place, creating random groups that come from weird angles or even launching them straight through your defensive line. I’m pretty sure I’ve also seen orcs get pushed through a wall by the nuke a couple of times. The Ice Beam is really fun and very strong, especially after you upgrade it. I’m not a huge fan of replacing ability cooldowns with a limited number of charges, though. The visual effects can also be a problem. Burning orcs covered in explosive, silver and slowing effects can turn the screen into a bright flashing mess. It could be genuinely dangerous for people with photosensitivity. The game probably needs a warning and an option to reduce the brightness and flashing effects. The progression system is a bit confusing too. You can only get the final upgrade, the pink cube one, after beating the last level. But by that point, there’s nothing left to use it on. An NG+ mode could fix that. Replaying old levels while dynamically changing the number of enemies and their stats would be cool. Overall, the game has a lot of potential, and I’d really like to see it grow. Definitely recommended.
Really fun game, I knew the game was going to be short so I took my time beating it but I still beat and 100% all achievements in 5 hours. Hopefully they update in the future, it would be really easy to add new maps/towers or even let fan made maps in but when games like thronefall are around the same price and offer 10x the playtime its hard to LOVE this game
Addictive! It was quite hard, but I didn't felt angry once, the game just needs more maps and more weapons' levels. Can't wait!
Krasses Game.
It's fine, compelling even. It is far too short for 10 dollars.
