Reviews
Normally don't leave too many reviews, but I thought that it was important to balance some of what I feel is unfair criticism of this game. Maybe it's not a sprawling space sim that some were looking for, but I found it damn fun. Great controls and variety, with some cheeky dialogue. May not be everybody's cup of tea, but I really enjoyed this one.
GG

Maybe im missing something, but w controller, the same button to exit a menu: B, IS ALSO THE SAME BUTTON FOR CONFIRMATION! why in the ♥♥♥♥ would i want to purchase 3 different ships just trying to exit a menu? running out of credits... Mayb its better w mouse and keyboard, but who plays twin sticks with a mouse and keyboard?
Я уничтожил множество людей, уничтожил множество станций, но... Где блядский адмирал? Я уже не знаю, кого мне убивать!
Played the demo, bought the real thing, good game.
I like it :-)
Silent Sector, medium on great script. Mighty in battle with varying degrees of difficulty. I would say this is a hidden gem, but that does not do it justice. Ten minutes into this story and fight, i was hooked. Buying and modifications, ships a bit light on ships. but there's enough. Missions quite variety. Great addictive game.
Fantastic for fans of space sims looking for a lite experience. Able to be enjoyed in quick sessions with plenty of love and style throughout.
Scratches an Itch
Silent Sector got me hooked right away with its fast-paced action and open-world gameplay. I loved being able to tweak my ship's weapons and gadgets to match my style, really connecting me to the gameplay. The freedom to chart my course through space was enjoyable, and the mix of missions kept me entertained for hours. I also loved all the nods to science fiction shows and movies. If you played Star Valor, this is like its predecessor. While Silent Sector is fun, it does have its quirks. As I played more, I noticed things getting repetitive, especially in the later stages. And while it's fun to customize your ship, I wish there were more options, both for ships and weapons. Sound – The music and sound effects in Silent Sector are decent, but nothing stands out. It sets the mood well enough, but don't expect anything mind-blowing. (3/5) Graphics – Silent Sector's retro-style graphics are charming and capture the vastness of space. They might not be super fancy, but they get the job done. (4/5) Gameplay – Silent Sector's mix of exploration and combat is a blast, letting you carve your own path through the universe. It's easy to get sucked in and lose track of time. I found myself continually saying “I’ll just finish this before I quit” and never quitting. (4/5) Replay Value – While the game's universe is randomly generated, there's not a ton of variety in the long run. You might come back for another playthrough, but don't expect anything radically different. (3/5) Story – The story in Silent Sector is okay, but it's nothing to write home about. It gives you a reason to keep playing, but it won't blow your socks off. (3/5) Silent Sector is a solid space adventure perfect for fans of games like Star Valor. It might have a few rough edges, like some repetition and a lackluster story, but it's still a fun ride. If you're into exploring open worlds and tinkering with spaceship gadgets, give Silent Sector a shot. Just don't expect it to revolutionize the genre.
