Step behind the periscope of a German U-boat and take on the Allied Forces in famous battles across the vast Atlantic Ocean and Mediterranean Sea. The best-selling submarine series of all time continues with the highly anticipated Silent Hunter: Battle of the Atlantic.

4 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.

I would not recommend unless you are ready to do some steps, #1: Uninstall and reinstall the game #2: go to control panel and go to uninstall programs #3 uninstall ubisoft launcher #4: install ubisoft connect and log in #5: Go to steam and go to manage, and cd keys #6 put the cd key into ubisoft connect and then launch the game EXTRA STEP 6: if your game is crashing after the opening cutscene, go to your desktop, right click, display options, and finally change your display to 100 instead of anything else.
Not sure how this is still for sale. The game has been broken for a few years. Ubisoft doesn't support it either. Or, if they do support it, they use carrier pigeons to respond to user tickets, and mine was eaten or lost in transit. It was a good game, but Ubisoft is a dumpster fire these days.

4 on sale11 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 11 “not sold” markets are read from the Steam price pass of Sep 8: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price in those. The 4 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

It wont load or play. No support from Ubisoft. I highly recommend that you do not buy this game!!!!!
Ubisoft kind of dropped the ball on this one in that it wasn't any better and the crew management was worse than Silent Hunter IV. But the best old-school experience is to get Silent Hunter III instead. By now, the bugs have been patched, the crew management is good, the tutorial is as well, and a large mod community. Grab it on sale, modify it, and have a MUCH better game than SH5.
In it's current state of abandonment this is a pile of flaming hot garbage. Do not buy. Not even for $0.99
Game doesn't work . Seems to want to log into ubisoft's server but doesn't . Terrible Shame. Can't even load it.
Good game with The Wolves of Steel mod installed. You have to manually install Ubisoft Connect to launch the game. It's a shame they didn't spend more time polishing this game as it has the base Silent Hunter experience built in. It's been salvaged by mods and contains the classic game-play of SH3/4 with updated graphics and the ability to walk around the sub. I like that your crew mates have personalities and talking to them has benefits & consequences. The interface changes compared to 3&4 are hit and miss, some are better, some are worse. Core game-play loop is intact and there's plenty of Atlantic and Mediterranean content. It's a slow burn submarine simulator as you would expect from this type of game. I prefer this version over 3 or 4 and I've played all three modded.
Graphics-wise, the highpoint of the Silent Hunter series. Gameplay-wise I think the peak was Silent Hunter IV. Very unstable and the stock TDC is not as usable as the TDC in Silent Hunter IV. The RPG aspect of walking around the sub is cool but gets old. The TWOS mod is nice but you have to be autistic to appreciate it.
It simply won't connect to the Internet and it never starts. A waste of money.
Game is broken, will not launch. This is basically money stolen from me.
