The king of submarine simulations returns with an all-new 3D engine, new crew command features, and more realistic WWII naval action than ever before. The movie-like graphics and simple, tension-filled gameplay make this the perfect game for the realism fanatic and the casual gamer.

Without a doubt, this game is the best entry in the Silent Hunter series. In my humble opinion, no other installment captures the atmosphere of the third one. It’s a perfect blend of music, ambient sounds, crew voices, and the constant pressure from destroyers — a combination that keeps me coming back again and again. Like fine wine, this game only gets better with age. It reminds me of the days when Ubisoft still knew how to make truly great games. Thanks for my childhood — the best subsim ever!
Best WW2 sub sim I've played. I'm old school Silent Service back in the NES days, which is where I got my love for these games. I've played over 100 hours of the vanilla version of this game and I keep coming back for more.
GWX-KC is a must
Alaaarm!!
The best Subsim out there! I highly reccomand the GWX - Knight's Cross Edition Megamod: https://thegreywolves.com/
I bought this game 3 days ago as I found it on the morning of my Friday of my work week. I proceeded to install the game and as it was installing I read a tip for new players guide and then proceeded to read the entire tutorial and play the game. I didn't know at the time I was going to then be addicted to a genre of video game I have sought after for so long. If you are looking to find a submarine simulator because you've thought about the sub warfare of ww2 then buy this game. The only thing I consider bad would be some of the button inputs but even then its not to hard once u learn what all the buttons do. The cherry on top though is the modding community and how they've expanded the base game so well. All in all 10/10 must buy.
The most annoying thing about the game is that torpedoes will never reload, destroyers are impossible to torpedo and before you reach where you're supposed to go you will be swarmed either by destoyers escorting nothing and won't go away or planes if you have no flak guns. Most of this game is just a waste of time
El mejor juego de guerra naval de la historia sin duda, no necesitas un PC potente ni mucho menos aunque en el modo carrera viviras la autentica experiencia u boat (cada poco vienen aviones y te tienes que sumergir)
Ok getting the complete obvious out of the way: you need mods to play this game. The game is older than Junior Soprano's and Bobby Bacala's father's ages put together, and unless you specifically want the 2005 experience (with crashes and memory errors up the ass) you should mod the game. That being said, the game is freaking amazing and the top submarine game of all time.
El mejor juego de submarinos de la historia, los mods son necesarios
