About
The light must never go out.
In the middle of a cold, endless sea stands a solitary lighthouse. Around it, your island begins to take shape, tile by tile, piece by piece. The sun breaks through the clouds and hope is in the air, but something eerie lurks beneath the surface.
ShoreTiles is a strategic building and defense game where strategy, wits and luck all contribute to your island’s ultimate fate. What begins as calm construction by day turns into a desperate fight for survival by night.
Build what must protect you:
Draw island tiles from an unforgiving deck and place them into your world. There is no undo, only what comes next. Connect matching terrain types, form patterns, and impose order on chaos. Efficient planning rewards you. Hesitation costs you space. But no matter how perfect your island looks… it is never truly safe.
Prepare while you still can:
Coins are more than progress, they are your only form of control:
Raise new Lighthouses to push back the fog
Build Settlements, Farms and Walls to bring your island to life and earn gold
Establish Military Camps to defend your island from they who lurk below
Because when darkness falls, they rise:
Creatures emerge from the depths. Twisted forms, neither human nor beast. Silent. Relentless. Drawn to the lights and the lives of those on the shore. Your defense depends entirely on your preparation. Connected military tiles determine how many units stand against them.
And sometimes… it won’t be enough.
As your island expands, the diversity of its structures and units grows with it.
Discover remnants of those who came before you, such as gold chests, relics and more, as well as discovering new building types & combat units through the Progress Map - However, as you progress, the fog may reveal advantages for your battles, but it can also bring new enemies.
Features:
Atmospheric tile placement centered around vulnerable lighthouses
Constant pressure from an unseen threat beneath the waves
Strategic combo mechanics with meaningful trade-offs
Nightly attacks from eerie deep-sea creatures
A fragile balance between expansion, economy, and defense
High replayability through randomized tile sequences
What ShoreTiles is:
A calm yet deeply unsettling gameplay experience
Strategic planning under growing pressure
A dark coastal atmosphere inspired by the 1960s
A constant tension between control and collapse
What ShoreTiles is not:
Not a cozy builder without consequences
Not a safe experience
No escape from the night
As long as the light burns, you still have a chance. The only question is: For how long?

A nice simple strategy game. The building and combo mechanics are nice. Keep it up :3
Great concept and lovely gameplay! It needs some polishing and minor bug fixes, but overall highly recommended.
Really cute and super relaxing game! At first you think, “I’ll just play one quick game,” and then you find yourself completely hooked It’s simple, but so addictive, and you just keep wanting to play for hours. Personally, I could play it over and over again! Highly recommended for anyone looking for something simple, relaxing, and instantly engaging.

This game is super fun and feels really peaceful at first. Building your island is extremely satisfying, especially watching your coins stack up 🪙. The variety of tiles makes the game genuinely challenging as you progress through the tech tree, which hugely increases the range of viable strategies. The nights start off easy, but as you go on, they get much trickier. The cannon is a real pain in the ass(archers too!), but it adds a lot of dynamism to the defense phase. I haven't reached the end yet (if there is one, though I guess I'll have to face some kind of giant octopus as far as i can tell from the trailer), but either way, I already know that leaderboard spot is gonna be mine. Can't wait to beat the game. Highly recommended. Great job, guys!
Really enjoying ShoreTiles! The game looks great, and I especially loved both the combat and the tile placement mechanics for building your little island. Switching between the two modes is what I enjoyed the most. It keeps things engaging and makes the gameplay feel really dynamic. Definitely a fun and refreshing experience!
This game is real fun! At first I thought it was just a chill game but then the night came! I'm really enjoying the construction phase, it's quite tricky to figure out where to place each tile once the island get larger, but though I was able to unlock many modifier tile. I really like that kind of variety. It's the kind of thing that makes you keep saying "just five more minutes" and than you end up realizing that an hour have passed :) Coming to the nights they become more and more difficult moving forward but I guess it is pretty fair. I only managed to reach 10th night at my first run but I think i just got unlucky with the flip coin tile that reduces the lighthouses range. I still have a bunch of tiles to unlock so maybe I need just some power up to progress more. I'll go for more runs cause I want to know what I still have to unlock and how big my island can get, but the game is really cool so far. Well done guys!
I like the building part but the defense part is simply no good
