Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.57/day in the week to Aug 18 → 2.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
After playing The Testament of Sherlock Holmes and Crimes & Punishments, I finally had the chance to play and finish this game in about a day. Overall it was fun, but had a lot of ups and downs. First of all, the loading times were atrocious. Considering that sometimes you have to go from x to y to back to x and then z, it might get frustrating for some people. Graphics were much better than the previous games but there were some inconsistencies such as Sherlock's and Watson's faces being very detailed whereas Alice's and Kate's faces looked like the textures were constantly trying to load. Animations were inconsistent too, sometimes they looked good and natural and sometimes they were just clunky and lacking, like when you slap
Alice
, Sherlock just stands there and suddenly you see the slap animation end. Gameplay wise, I enjoy QTEs in games and this game had A LOT of them which I personally didn't mind. However, you should know that some QTEs have very short time limits that could make it a bit frustrating for controllers. Like in the previous games, you have a deduction board in which you can connect different evidences to bring up a deduction. There are absolute deductions which act both as an information and evidence for variable deductions. Variable deductions on the other hand, present you two deductions to choose from and depending on your answer it will direct you to a possible culprit. The thing that most bothered me was, in previous games collecting evidence and using this board was much more easier and logical but this game never really presents you a concrete evidence. Even connecting different evidences don't give you a better idea on what is going on. You have to REALLY nitpick some documents and info the game presents you as having little importance because if not, the game will tell you the culprit was Y with the most *sspull move
looking at you 'pygmy'
when EVERYTHING was directing you to X. Also for some reason Sherlock was dumber? He didn't have much to say nor think. And not being able to use the analysis table as much as previous games was a huge let down for me. Same goes for autopsies and much detailed place searches. I think this superficial gameplay was the reason deductions didn't work as good as it should've been. The actual story was short and maybe kinda rushed as we could only really focus on it at the end. While I know the point is that Sherlock wasn't attentive at all, I would love to see a better relationship between Sherlock and Kate. It looks like Sherlock should've had a character development with Kate, going from a cocky detective to still cocky but somewhat passionate and kind dad, but instead of going with either of them they just watered down all his traits.
Only at the end he finally realizes he wasn't being a good dad, and you don't even know what happens after.
The storytelling felt like someone edited a movie and cut the most important plot parts from it. The case stories were interesting and while still confusing at times, much more consistent than the main story. Sherlock Holmes: The Devil's Daughter was a mess compared to previous games but it was still enjoyable. Don't be hesitant to use the Skip option in puzzles or look for help online in your deductions if needed as they might be too frustrating or dragging you for too long.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 13: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Pretty bad game overall. Detective games in general stand and fall on the writing and puzzle design. The Devil's Daughter dissapoints on both ends. Nonsensical and unsatisfying solutions to overcomplicated cases, too many boring stealth/action segments, even the puzzle elements often rely just on trial and error. A big step-down from Crimes and Punishments. Laughable attempts at an overarching story, which just fizzles out at the end without any proper conclusion. Graphical errors, awkward movement and softlocks abound. The game also comes of as surprisingly edgy in its attempts to be dark and mature, it appears almost ashamed of the lighter and more comedic side of the Sherlock Holmes stories, which the Crimes and Punishements managed to embrace without sacrificing the intrique. The first case has some tense moments and an interesting build-up, but fails to deliver a proper ending for the main suspect and the side charaters. The second case turns out to be completely nonsensical, due to it's inclusion of some of the worst attemps at red herrings ever. Many obvious holes and discrepancies are never satisfyingly explained, and the "correct" solution is way dumber than the other options. The last third of this case becomes a tedious crawl through an ugly ancient temple, where the player has to combat not only the boring puzzles, but also the stiff controls and the pure annoyance of dying over and over again. There is also an entire subplot about steampunk robots that goes nowhere! The third case opens with a bang and has some funny moments, but once again falls prey to extended stealth sections and pretty boring gameplay. There are very few locations in this story and it feels somewhat weightless. The fourth case is hands down the best part of this game. The puzzles are interesting and require some actual deductive reasoning from the player, the story is focused and the action minigames aren't too distracting. The final moral decision is also more complex than in all of the other cases. The last case is where the game comes to a screeching halt. It's laughably short and fails to establish any kind of tension or sympathy for the characters. It tries to come of as a conclusion to a slow-burning mystery hidden in the shadows, but comes of as intensely melodramatic and goofy. The game ends with a "Telltale-like" dialogue final boss, which might have been satisfying with a proper build-up, but comes off as rushed and insincere. This game attempts a different direction for a Sherlock Holmes story, but sacrifices everything I love about this character and detective games as a genre. Too little thinking and too much spectacle and misdirection. I reccomend you to skip this game, unless you're ready to overlook it's many bad qualities and enjoy the small, fleeting moments of intrique and tension.
WATSON, ROW THE BOAT FASTER!
Very Mixed...
The big problem this game has are the action sequences and puzzles that the developers definetly spent a lot of effort making but it is the worst part of the game - slowly push a box (Many times in a row! What great puzzle design! (sarcasm)), go through a swamp, or do QTEs that you can only figure out by trial and error. It is not fun and completly destroys the pacing of the game. When you are allowed to do actual detective work, the game feels amazing! Going around finding evidences using Sherlock's observation and decution, heading over to Scotland Yard as part of the investigation, and returning back to 221B Baker Street to consult the archives makes you feel like Sherlock Holmes. I am genuinely mixed about this game. I will give it a positive rating as the story was so engaging that I played till the end for it (Spoilers:
Sherlock is a horrible father, and I don't know if he even changed as a person by the ending. Many issues can be resolved if he just spends time with her daughter, and you have spare time Sherlock! You went bowling!
). But man, I will never replay this game ever again - the forced action sequences is that bad and horrible. My recommendation? Play the first game "Sherlock Holmes: Crime and Punishment" - that game is actually amazing!
Sherlock Holmes: The Devil`s Daughter
