Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.57/day in the week to Aug 18 → 2.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This is the Sherlock Holmes tale Sir Arthur Conan Doyle would have written if he was going through a bitter divorce and hated his wife, got kicked out of his house and was sleeping on a friend's couch, played video games all day / drank all night, and only got to see his kids one weekend a month. "Devil's Daughter" builds on the game mechanics of "Crimes and Punishments"; while its overarching plot explores a premise inspired by the final scenes of "The Testament of Sherlock Holmes." In "Devil's Daughter," however, we get a new incarnation of the famous detective--here he's more youthful, more athletic, more contemporary. More jarring is the radically different Watson, who is recognizable only by his signature bowler hat. This Watson seems at times weary of Holmes, dispensing advice and doubt (in a voice reminiscent of Ewan McGregor) and providing steadfast support to Holmes no matter how ludicrous the situation they find themselves. Like other characters in Homes' orbit, Watson's presence at 221B Baker Street is transient and conditional throughout the game. "Devil's Daughter" is more action-oriented than any of the previous Sherlock Holmes titles in the Frogwares franchise. Stylistically, this installment is on par with games like the Uncharted series and "Shadow of the Tomb Raider." There are surreal levels--Holmes enters pocket-worlds and navigates overlapping planes of reality. The game feels avant-garde at times, using QTEs and one-off challenges to put characters in unique situations. The levels are beautifully crafted. "Devil's Daughter" is engaging and addictive. It is also at times confusing and frustrating. "Devil's Daughter" falters as a sleuthing game. The deductions system is inconsistent, with solutions that sometimes feel random. Once again, the player is asked to convict or absolve a suspect with uncertain deductions or minimal evidence. Each case concludes with a moral choice without assurance the player has correctly chosen the right perpetrator. Overall, "Devil's Daughter" is unserious and fun.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 13: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

pros ✅ gorgeous, polished graphics and level design featuring Victorian London districts and places like Whitechapel and Highgate Cemetery ✅ there are some fun to play action and stealth sequences ✅ well made cutscenes ✅ there are nice variety and many complex, challenging puzzles. ✅a well-written, engaging, and intriguing main story with some twists and turns and five different and independent criminal cases. The main story is about Sherlock Holmes's stepdaughter, whose criminal father killed the previous game (The Testament of Sherlock Holmes), and he is keeping her true origin as a secret. However, the situation changes when a mysterious woman known as "Alice" becomes Holmes's new neighbor. Alice slowly befriends Katelyn, eventually earning the daughter's trust while causing emotional issues between Holmes and Katelyn at the same time. Throughout the game, Holmes will solve different cases while getting to know Alice's origin and her true intention ✅ It's enjoyable to piece together deductions in Sherlock's thinking ✅ character models and cutscenes looks decent ✅ decent length ✅ decent voice acting ✅ there are steam achievements and cards ✅ there is an map for fast travel cons ❌ frequent and long loading screens ❌ repetitive gameplay with the same mini-games and scripted sequences ❌ relies too heavily on scripted action and stealth sequences, tedious and frustrating QTEs, and mini-games. Fortunately, you can skip these gameplay elements if you prefer not to engage with them ❌ The Mayan temple puzzle chamber with all these annoying and frustrating traps is tedious to play Overall, this is an enjoyable addition to the long-running Sherlock Holmes adventure series with multiple engaging storylines, new action and stealth gameplay elements, and well-designed environments.
WATSON, ROW THE BOAT FASTER!
I played most of the games in this series before this one and it was really enjoyable to see the evolution of the series from game to game. However, this game itself is a huge miss. Compared to the previous game Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishments, this one aimed to appeal to a broader audience by stirring away from the traditional investigation and player's decision/interpretation of the case, to action sequence but the problem is that it feels very clunky and out of place. It's hard to say that it is a bad decision by itself, but the implementation just didn't bring the audience that Frogwares wanted to captivate so badly. I enjoyed the series for detective work but QTE, occult themes
around Moriarty's daughter
to name a few, is the last thing I would want to see playing this series. Cosmic horror on the other hand is very welcome.

Tough game, eye hand coordination required, could use with a little extra explanation but I guess it would ruin the theme of being a detective and figuring out your next move on your won. Watch the cues it gives is best advice I can give.
i think i played crime and punishment in 2024 and this one is not really an upgrade to the predecessor. the gameplay and game mechanics still the same. i did guess the plot and who is the devil's daughter correctly, it was so obvious. but the cases still fun. i rate it 6/10. i just didn't like the supernatural stuff that makes u teleport magically and etc. also kate and alice character are so insufferrable.
