Recomendamos ✌🏽
Part 2 when? Beautiful game. Felt a little short and I think I missed bits of the plot. But Great voice acting, lovely graphics and characters. Well done!
Waited to play the full game to write this review and I must recommend this game. The art and the pixel art are amazing specially the art direction and animations and also there are great game design details as "possession" mechanic. The story is good as well and really good written. I love the effort the studio made with the voice over, probably one of the best for such a small team. Totally recommend it for adventures games fans and for people who want to play for their first time this genre.
Awesome game! The story really picks up in the second half.
Must play for the P&C fans and especially Thimbleweed Park. Plot and characters are good, humour is in place, puzzles that make sense
Just finished playing this game. In short: This had a chance to be twice as long (to tie up all loose ends it didn't in this round) and double the difficulty/complexity of the gameplay without needing to expand the current plot--and I would have absolutely adored it. Not sure if they ran out of budget or time (which I get and wouldn't dock them for), or just got bored (to which I ABSOLUTELY would dock them for, like, wth), but regardless, it's a bittersweet review for me. [*]Pros: Premise; worldbuilding; gameplay dynamics; game design; characterization; character backstories. [*]Cons: Pacing; lack of depth into literally every Pro element listed; a seemingly rushed, way too linear second half of the game; unsatisfying resolution. Do I recommend getting this game? Yes--but only when it's on sale.
10/10
The game starts out nice enough, and the plot is actually pretty interesting. However, the writing gets worse as the story progresses. The part where
Pilar has to overcome her fear
was particularly annoying to me. There's also the overused trope of
officials swooping in after the bad guy already escaped, only to arrest the protagonist for stupid reasons
. Rating: ★★★☆☆
