Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Sep 18 → 2.25/day in the week after.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

Selaco is a brand new original shooter inspired by classics, featuring thrilling action set pieces, destructibility, smart enemies and a fleshed out story taking place within an immersive game world. It draws inspiration heavily from F.E.A.R. in terms of action set pieces, while mixing exploration elements from Half-Life, along with some more modern features.

The story takes place during a violent invasion on Selaco, a massive space station sheltering the last refugees after Earth’s fall just a few years prior. You play as Dawn Collins, an ACE Security Captain who, with her recent promotion and high level security clearances, is digging deep into the truth behind Selaco's murky history. Before she can finish her investigation, Selaco is rocked by explosions and armed invaders.

A lengthy adventure-driven campaign
Selaco offers a massive, uninterrupted journey packed with action and atmosphere. Explore a wide range of environments in a fully connected world - no cutaways, no time jumps, just seamless momentum from start to finish.
Intense Action set pieces
Blast through your environment with impactful weapons that really leave a mark on the world. That once lavish office space, now nothing but a pile of rubble with broken paintings, smashed tables, screen, chairs, smoke, and chunks of debris.
Custom AI
Selaco’s AI was built from the ground up for dynamic, coordinated combat. Enemies communicate, flank, suppress, and adapt to your tactics - keeping pressure when you're aggressive or rushing when you're vulnerable. Hundreds of voiced lines hint at their next move, making every fight feel alive.
Full soundtrack
Selaco features an original, full-length soundtrack composed by Lawrence Steele, with over 3 hours of neon-tinged electronica spanning from high-intensity combat tracks to immersive, atmospheric soundscapes.
Adapt & Overcome
As enemies evolve and gain access to new tools, so do you. Improve your weaponry with new utility upgrades, or transform weapon behavior entirely with Weapon Kits.
Replayability
Selaco is designed with replayability in mind. Jump into Randomizer Mode to experience remixed mechanics, exclusive enemies, and fully customizable chaos. Or test your skills in Incursion Mode (coming later during Early Access), an endless survival challenge set in Deathmatch-style arenas.
Updates
Build ids and update times come straight from Steam's PICS — the same source SteamDB reads. Patch history grows as we record new builds.

Really enjoyed the game, excited to see act 2 and eventually 3.
Loved every second of it. Looks good. Takes notes from fear and boomer shooters. Very fun and looking forward to chapter 2.
Very good boomshoot

SELACIOUS
PHENOMINAL. If'n you liek Brutal Doom? n'stuff like it?, then you'll undoubtably love this Extremely! Well Polished! Masterpiece! of Indie Ecstasy! Selaco REALLY scratches the itch typical of the elite Doomhead — the hardcore secret-hunting FPS types — and handedly earns the term "boomer shooter." Extremely satisfying gunplay and weaponry with upgrade paths. Eerily convincing enemy AI that is as much a joy to combat as it is to destroy; fountains of thick purple blood spurt from the gurgling neck of a decapitated soldier who's head bounces and then rolls across the floor, painting a path of wet alien goo that can then stick to the player's boot, leaving bloody footprints (and the evidence of our protagonist's xeno-astrophobic sin) in her wake. Dismembered limbs and ammunition rain down from thunderous and gib-heavy explosions. The HUD splattered with the bits and gore of an enemy vaporized; turned into a grape-slushy via the French kiss of a pointblank shotgun blast. I literally will load quicksave after quicksave just to see what the AI does THIS time, to kill all the enemies again but in a SLIGHTLY different (and hopefully more grotesque) fashion. Performance was good; it was a struggle to get it running in Vulkan mode on my laptop (nVidia) for some reason, but I eventually figured it out after a lot of tweaking and was able to maintain a stable 60fps. My desktop PC maintains a solid 200 fps with most (but not all) graphical features maxed out. The one small (very small) gripe I have is with the dodge/sprint/slide mechanics; i would have preferred Slide to be triggered independently from Dash, but movement overall is nonetheless very fun to play with. Beyond that, the only thing that bums me out about this game is that there isn't more of it. (at least, not yet. fingers crossed). 10/10 would buy and play again :D
I just finished this game for the first time, and it was an absolute pleasure to play through it. You can feel the passion and love that went into this game. I'm really looking forward to Chapter 2! Visuals: 9/10 The art style is very aesthetically pleasing and the lighting is really well done. I love all the signs and graffiti that you find throughout the levels. I've always had a soft spot for the art style that boomershooters tend to use and this game's art is absolutely fantastic. Combat: 9/10 The combat is really top-notch. There are a lot of weapon variety and weapons feel great to use. I love all the modifications you can make to your weapons. The movement is very fluid, and it feels great moving around the place. My favourite thing to do is dash into an enemy and melee his ass into a wall. Level Design: 10/10 The level design is one of the best I've experienced. The levels are well-thought-out, and the secrets are all very fun and creative. The level design honestly reminds me of Duke Nukem 3D, which until playing this game was my favourite boomershooter. World Design: 9/10 The world design is really well-thought-out. There are many instances you can put together what happened just by looking at items and objects around you. I love that kind of world building in games. Interactivity: 10/10 There is so much you can interact with in this game, but more importantly, so much you can destroy. I destroyed all the items on every level because it was just so fun to see many things break and how they broke. I also love that a lot of the items have multiple layers of destruction. My only disappointment was some cars you couldn't blow up. I wanted to destroy all of them! Optimization: 10/10 The performance for me was really solid. Played on max settings in Vulkan and the game didn't lag or stutter at all. Voice Acting and Sound Design: 10/10 The voice acting in this game is perfect. From the grunts the player makes when performing actions to enemies that sound really cool and badass. The clarity of the audio is also superb. Audio: 9/10 The sound design in this game is fantastic. The gun sounds are really punchy and impactful. The environmental sounds are very atmospheric, and I love all the different sounds for each object when you destroy them. Music: 10/10 The soundtrack in this game is peak. Many of the tracks add to the vibe of the area and make the levels more atmospheric. The combat music is also great and gets you in the mood for pumping lead. The composer Lawrence Steele did a bang-up job. Story: 2/10 The story was the weakest part of the game for me, as there basically isn't any except for some PDA logs which contain interesting things about the lore, but that's about it. I've read that a full story is being added in at some point, so I'll change this part of the review whenever that happens. Suggestions (For Devs): -Bigger shootout in Sal's Pub -Combat in the first streets area -Improve the water texture used in interiors (i.e. sinks, fountains, etc.) -More secrets and lore! -More player animations when interacting with stuff, like when petting the Vac-Bots and using a keycard. -Dedicated leg hotkey so I can kick stuff with any button. -Player Body Model when you look down. TLDR: 9.5/10 must play game.
Selaco is the kind of shooter that I crave, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ its so fun to blast people. I think this game along the likes of "ULTRAKILL" set the bar for what modern shooters need and what the players want more of. Play this game.
Tl'dr: Seleco is a 10/10. An amazing FPS, packed with great action, explosions, and an interactive environment. Probably the best game on the GZDoom engine I’ve played. Weapons, enemies, and the environment all provide the right amount of feedback. For example, after a shootout in a bar between you and 5-10 enemies, the bar really looks like a heavy shootout took place- broken glass on the floor, enemy bodies scattered all over the room, and debris from broken furniture and dishes mixed in. Enemies can kill you in seconds and will try to catch you off guard. There's a weapon upgrade system, so you can customize the gunplay to suit your style. Plus, the game offers a ton of options for difficulty settings, gameplay customization, and a mod workshop, so you can really make it your own. That’s also why I played through the campaign twice: first on Normal difficulty and then on Hard difficulty with RPG elements enabled (enemies and weapons can have different rarities) and with more frequent appearances of additional (and more dangerous) enemies, while I was using scarab mode. The first playthrough was great; the second was an crazy bloodbath- both playthroughs were awesome. I highly recommend it- the game is great.
